Rating: Summary: killer movie Review: This movie is one of my all-time favorites. I recently bought the DVD and it is in the widescreen version the way John Carpenter wanted it. This one gets my high eyebrow. Enjoy!

Thank you Junior Herd
Rating: Summary: The Fury Review: Christine has to be the best of John Carpenter and Stephen King's work. I loved it the first time I saw the movie. The slick red color of the car was so sweet and the way it ran was great! It will be the best Carpenter movie I'll ever see in my life and the music to it was also OUTSTANDING!
Rating: Summary: A Carpenter Classic. Review: John Carpenter's adaptation to Stephen King's novel was a fright scare at the least. This film is about A teenage boy obsessed with his ol' car Christine. Well what happens next is predictable his car is maimed to kill anyone that he may not like but without him driving it. Still maybe corny to some but features a great Score similar to Halloween 3 by Carpenter. Features Alexandra Paul in a pre Baywatch era.
Rating: Summary: Here in my car, I feel safest of all Review: High school nerd sees the car of his dreams and has to have it, ignoring the history of deaths that come along with the purchase. But this is no ordinary car, it's alive. Follows up with the predictable development: parents don't like car, bullies trash car, car gets even. Some of the cast choices are good but whatever talent this movie has, it needs a better screenplay. Preston is wife of John Travolta and you can see the bum Blossom in HOME ALONE.
Rating: Summary: A classic in horror film. Review: Some horror films can be considered classics, Christine is one of them. Even when this film has been produced more than 20 years ago, it looks as a recent produced one. Its special effects are amazing, even the car has its personality, I think, as a pet. The photography is excellent in its shot angles. Scary and thrill at its best.
Rating: Summary: scary Review: I think the movie was great. The teenage boy who was obbsessed with his car. It was scary. Especially when the car can come back to normal with no scratches after it killed those boys.
Rating: Summary: great movie, poor sound Review: This movie is great. What can I say! The picture quality is excellent. Sadly, I was disappointed with the 2.0 stereo sound, which makes no use of my subwoofer. On my duntech speakers there was definately something missing without the subwoofer rumbling the room.If sound does not worry you, buy this one. It's a great movie.
Rating: Summary: Anyone ever seen "The Car" 1977? Strangely Similar. Review: The first scary movie I ever saw was "The Car" in the mid 70's. For a year or two it came on TV fairly regularly and then it seemed to dissapear from circulation. I probably sneaked downstairs and watched that movie on 10 different occasions. There is Something deeply sinister about evil controlling an inanimate object. Seeing Christine for the first time in 1985 brought it all back to me. I thought the acting was a little over the top, but that does not prevent the creepiness of this story to seep through. I am a huge Stephen King fan and of course, no movie ever seems as good as the book, but this one comes as close as "The Shining" and "Misery". One thing I really liked about the movie was the use of 1950's tunes to give some of the seens dark and ironic humor. By the way, I just discovered "The Car" is available in DVD on Amazon.com yeterday and I ordered it. I will be watching that one tonight. I can't believe it has been over 20 years since I have seen it.
