Summary: CHRISTINE...Carpenter's best since 'Halloween'
Review: i have seen a lot of horror films based on stephen king novels, for example 'sometimes they come back' 'sleepwalkers' and 'it' and after watching each film only one word came to mind...awful. but Christine is a definite exception(also with the exception of 'the shinning'). john carpenter('halloween'and 'the fog')brings this stephen king novel to life with excellent direction. its scary, funny, disturbing and just fun to watch. this isnt a horror movie about some killer walking around stabbing teenagers, its about a car named christine, a car that not only has looks that could kill but actually does kill. Young Arnie Cunningham(kieth Gordon) discovers the car and becomes slowly possessed by it. the relationship between arnie and christine is truly one worth watching, unlike the boring appearances of john stockwell and alexandra paul(baywatch). if you like horror movies, if you like stephen king, if you like john carpenter, if you just have a brain, you will enjoy this film. its horror at its best.

Summary: Chirstine: The ultime Fury.
Review: Christine to me is one of the best books made into a movie. Yes it is predictable, but in away that doesn't make it boring...I personaly have a '67 Fury...But the movie was great along with the book. . .and for anyone who likes gorgous, fast car's and a good horror movie once in awhile I would completly recomned this movie.

Review: Christine is the right movie to watch to be relaxed.Because it is so easy to understand and watch.Everything on this movie going on expected. You can understand all the next steps of it.Also every scene of this film taste like mixed pop corn.Sometimes salty , sometimes oiled and sometimes sweet.Lastly you should own one cause it is really fresh to watch.

Summary: Carpenter & King: A perfect match!
Review: When I heard that John Carpenter made a movie based on a Stephen King novel, nothing was gonna stop me from seeing it. I wasn't let down either! The suspense is wonderful, and you can watch Arnie's slow change from nerd who can't open his locker to the guy everyone's afraid of. The only part of this movie that I thought needed work was the blood. The lack of it. But, other than that, it was great!

Summary: Bad adaptation
Review: I liked the book a lot, and was excited about the movie, but it turned out to be a dissapointment. The characters were very bad and didn't really fit the part, and terrible acting. The car was still pretty cool, but they changed so much stuff in the movie, it was kinda boring. Maybe I was expecting too much, or maybe it was bad, but my opinion is don't get it.

Summary: Christine
Review: The movie and the book was great I truley love that car and I wish that i had it. The ending was was super so I wish that king and carpenter would make a second part to the movie so that I could see that same car again and watch a fantistic movie.I own the movie and truley love it.

Review: I thought the movie was great! Stephen King and John Carpenter definitely should make a sequel to the movie, 17 years later. They should entitle it "Christine II, the Revenge". I thought the car was beautiful. Keith Gordon played the part of Arnie very well. He really looked possessed.

Summary: Watch the WIDESCREEN Version or Nothing
Review: One of the better "misunderstood teen-gets-possessed-and-seeks revenge" films of the 80's...especially due to the wonderful music & direction by John Carpenter. Yet, this DVD offers another triumph for the "letterboxing" crowd. There is so much going on at the sides of the frame, that one can understand characters better, see more action, and not be dizzied by the pan-and-scan process! When the DVD jackets decribe the widescreen availability as to "preserve the integrity of the filmmaker," they mean it!

Summary: Strong Direction from Carpenter and acted from Gordon.
Review: Keith Gordon gives an strong performance, so is Carpenter direction. About an teenager get pick on the gang members, one day, he see this car, that become obsession to him and he become another person, because he curse from that car. Also he`s revenge on the gang members pick on him and the people is getting on his way. Great special effects from the car. Highlight-seeing the car rebuild by itself. Based on a novel by Stephen King, also he like the adaptation of the film, what it become. Grade:A. Panavision.
