Summary: Final Chapter???
Review: The final chapter is in the title, but thats not the truth. Part four to me was more scarier then the 3rd one, because jason is more aggressive and more violent in it. He seems to be getting more and more angry that these stupid teens dont get the clue, "stay away from crystal lake!!" Jason face on here is even more nasty looking, almost like he was burnt. This time around he comfront his child like self with tommy jarvis, the one who destroys him?? Buy this movie, for a good scare

Summary: Another totally pointless film (but I watched it)
Review: If you're looking for a great movie and a good ending or even an ending (this one just pointed to a sequel I haven't seen the sequel after this one but I'm 100% I know who the next killer is) don't watch this.If you're just looking for something to watch on TV or looking for a movie to rent you might think about watching this.I'm not a fan of horror (with some exceptions like smart suspence horror Silence of the lambs being one) they all seem pointless to me someone starts killing people for no reason usually two people survive it and try to kill this person and usually do but that's not the worst part the killer is Invincible and will return in many sequels (oh geez I've just gave away the plot oops there is no plot) but somehow I actually watched all of this movie and that's why I give it an extra star

Summary: Friday the 13th-The "Final" Chapter?
Review: Good companion piece to Part 3 has Jason reviving in the county morgue (after being assumed dead) and perfoming surgery on a nurse and a attendant before returning to his stomping grounds in Camp Crystal Lake. He sets his sights on a cottage full of party animals and a nice family next door. Young Tommy Jarvis (Corey Feldman) is a horror film fanatic and an expert in creating rubber masks. His new neighbors start getting gruesomely picked off, and after his mother disappears, he and older sister Trish (Kimberly Beck) face off with the diabolical Jason. The body count and special effects should delight fans of the series. The last of the good sequels, and the following one is a big comedown. Lawrence Monoson, of "The Last American Virgin", still gets no respect here. Crispin Glover is a hoot as a nerd with an imaginary girlfriend who finally scores. One of the better casts in the series.

Summary: Jason never dies!
Review: While Jason recovers from a bad headache which he sustained in part 3 he is driven to the morg under the pretense that he is dead, yeah right. Upon awakening, Jason discovers he really doesn't like the morg much and so sets out to do a little decorating. First to go is an oversexed jerk working there followed by his stupid co-worker. Forward to the wilderness once more on familiar turf where another bloodbath is about to begin. The ending in part 4 is simply shocking wait till you see who does battle with Jason this time round. Add this one to the collection if you already have 1,2,and 3; now on to part 5!

Summary: awesome movie
Review: now this (friday the 13th the final chapter) ,which is the 4th instaulment in the friday the 13th saga, was one of the best sequals i have EVER seen. from start to finish , friday 4 was so much fun. the killing sequence was spectacular and the opening story line scene is reason enough to whatch thin movie ALONE. i think the friday the 13th series totaly redeamed itself after a pretty pathetic third one. this is a movie that you can invite a whole lot of people to sleep over and after the movie SCARE THE HELL OUTA THEM..lol..what more can i say other than get this movie and watch and enjoy.

Summary: long live voorhees!
Review: this is without a doubt my favorite friday installment. its full of gratuitous nudity and death after death after death. who could ask for anything more from a horror movie? in this fourth but not final chapter, jason escapes from the morgue and goes on another killing spree in crystal lake. the death toll is about 15 and each one is gorier as they come. some include: a guy getting his neck sawed and then his head twisted off, a hitchhiker getting stabbed through the neck, a guy getting a harpoon gun shoved in his crotch and fired, a guy getting his face pushed into a pancake on the shower wall, and many different and creative stabbings. but the end has got to be jason's best death yet. he is wacked in the side of the head with a machete and his head practically splits in two. pick this flick up now if you are a horror movie fan! Bring on Jason X!!

Summary: Friday the 13th: The Final Chapter
Review: One of Jason's greatest films! They find that Jason's dead but one problem, he's not. As always he comes back to slash and kills. I loved that scene when Jason had his mask pulled off and the sharp blade went throw his right eye. Tommy Travis an't done with Jason cause Travis returns to the 6th Friday the 13th series- Friday the 13th Part VI: Jason Lives. Thats the other one I liked best. Keep them coming Jason cause Friday the 13th Part X is soon to arrive.

Summary: Not the Best, But Enough Well Done Moments
Review: Well, this is certainly better than part 3! But that is not really saying much, so I will try to do better. The story starts well, with previews from the first 3 movies. Jason's sudden return is unimpressive, but it does get better. Unlike part 3, the characters are well developed, and there is no annoying biker subplot. The BEST thing about this movie is that Tommy Jarvis becomes a parallel of Jason. When Jason kills Tommy's mother, they gain something in common. (They are both driven by a desire to avenge their mother.) Tommy realizes that Jason can not be stopped by force, so he resorts to psychology. He confronts Jason with the image of the innocent child he once was! Because of this Jason becomes vulnerable, and his face is revealed. (If it were up to me, this vulnerable moment would have been the ONE AND ONLY time we saw his face.) Tommy takes advantage of the moment to kill Jason. The ending may seem strange but it is not. Tommy feels his mind will never be at rest, and this will play an important part in the next movies.

Summary: Great Movie, Abysmal DVD
Review: I love this movie to death. It ties with Friday The 13th Part VI: Jason Lives as the best of the F13th series. I just couldn't wait for the DVD release. I imagined tons and tons of features and innovation. Everything from Production Notes, Filmographies, Cut Footage, Isolated Music Track, Scene Selection, Crisp Picture, Booming Sound, Web Links, and both Fullscreen and Widescreen formats in addition to the Theatrical Trailers and TV Spots. I was looking SO forward to this DVD and none of what I imagined ever happened. The sound is terrible (what the Heck is up with the Hiss?!) and the picture looks incredibly grainy and makes the film look like it was shot on a camcorder. It's also VERY heavily cut and all of the fantastic gore scenes have been stripped to pieces. AND WHERE ARE THE EXTRAS?!?! All there is is a Theatrical Trailer and that's it. WHY Paramount. WHY did you release this terrible DVD of an excellent film? I would like to start a campaign to get Paramount to re-release ALL of the F13th DVDs with a much better picture and sound, more innovative extras, and animated menus. Please wait for a re-release.

Summary: One of the best of the series
Review: I know a lot of people that say that "Friday the 13th - The Final Chapter" is their favorite movie of the series. I wouldn't say that it's my favorite, but it's definitely in the top 3. Jason Voorhees is taken to a hospital and everybody thinks he's dead, but they're wrong. He terrorizes some new teens who are living wild and free at nearby Camp Crystal Lake.

"Friday the 13th - The Final Chapter" had some great special effects and it has the same great action and death scenes that all the movies in the series had. The teens in this movie seem more like real teens than they did in the previous three movies. There's more nudity in this movie than in any of the others in the series also. If you like watching Jason do his killing sprees, then I recommend getting "Friday the 13th - The Final Chapter." But beware, it's not really the final chapter like the name suggests.
