Summary: My new favorite horror movie!
Review: This was one of the best new HORROR (not slasher) movies that I have ever seen! And that is an understatement! This director guy Victor is gonna be big! I love everything about this movie! The music! The suspense! The creeper! And the ending in which the killer actually wins...pure brillance! It is going to go down in history as a classic right next to Halloween, The texas chainsaw massacre, and The Exorcist. I think that every TRUE horror fan should buy this!!!!!! Buy a copy for your wife! Buy a copy for your kids! Buy a copy for your dog! Just buy the best horror movie ever made!

Summary: Great beginning, awful ending
Review: The first 25 minutes of the movie made me turn on the lights of my living room, just to be sure the sounds i heard from the surround speakers came from the movie and not from a mad killer lurking in my garden.

The movie starts with a very nerve breaking car chase and continues with a very eery basement scene. The killers truck has to be one of the scariest images i have ever seen!

The rest of the movie is transformed into a very bad c-class tv movie with unbelievably bad acting, the dummest dialogues in the world and an ending that really makes you glad it has finished...

It had great potential but was a disaster. Avoid at all costs.

Summary: This is Scary.
Review: At a time when the "Scream" wave has left every teen horror film in its wake awash in tongue-in-cheek tributes, self-aware teen heroes and killers who learned their trades from movie monsters, "Jeepers Creepers" is an eerie return to old-fashioned scary movies. You get the sense writer/director Victor Salva really takes this seriously. People got bent out of shape because they showed what the creature looked like, but that is rediculous, it didn't take away from the film's atmosphere. BUY IT!!

Summary: UNDERATED!
Review: Jeepers Creepers is an old-fashioned spooker that owes as much to Steven Spielberg's Duel as it does to Tobe Hopper's Texas Chainsaw Massacre. Behold the film's mesmerizing opening sequence: a car, a Winnebago and a rusty truck partake in a maddening game of highway peek-a-boo. When the film's terrifying Mr. Creepers starts shedding his skin, the film is compromised by cheeky climax best appreciated by fans of camp. Trish (Gina Philips) and Darryl (Justin Long) are the poster children for the Curiosity Killed the Cat generation. They head back into Creepers territory once they've successfully dodged his road rage. Director Victor Salva keeps the excitement going despite fumbling with the been-there-done-that self-reflective humor ("You know the part in scary movies where somebody does something really stupid and everybody hates them for it? Well, this is it"). Surely, the film's rest-stop set piece must count as one of the more impressive moments of the year. Mr. Creepers plays tongue-hockey with a police officer's severed head. In the background: a sign celebrating the deliciousness of meat. This is seriously underated, and all because they revealed what the monster looked like. Come on people, that didn't completely destroy the atmosphere, you're overeacting. Anyway this one you must watch with the lights off.

Summary: People make such a big deal about the 2nd half
Review: This is a very scary movie, and a heck of alot scarier than that crappy Scream, Valentine, and I Know What You did Last Summer. This isn't some stupid hip teen flick, no this is the down and dirty good old fashion horror film. You must watch this film alone in the dark!

Summary: Jeeper s Creepers... Sounds like a Scooby Doo Movie.
Review: Jeepers Creepers was a surprise to me, I didn't know what to expect in this movie. The plot holes of the movie are there to allow the director to make a sequel. Along with the intense atmosphere, and with confident style and low-budget ingenuity, Jeepers Creepers gets under your skin, provoking spine-tingling horror when college siblings Trish and Darry encounter a flesh-eating demon along a barren rural highway. After a harrowing car chase that sets the movie's nerve-wracking tone, they investigate suspicious activity near an abandoned church, where a corrugated pipe leads to unimaginable horrors. This is a great and SCARY horror film that I would recommend to anyone. Watch it alone in the dark!

Summary: Very scary, despite the flaws...
Review: Yes there are some flaws in this film, but who cares, they're not as big a deal as some pathetic 1 star reviewers try to make it out to be. They let one little thing ruin an entire movie for them. Listen to me and watch this one alone in the dark!

Summary: Surprisingly decent but expect no surprises
Review: But that isn't saying much. Let's see if this has all the necessary formulae for a dumb teenie scream fest.

1. Dumb teens on a roadtrip/camping trip.

Yes

2. Dumb teens see something "like totally weird" and risk their lives to investigate it as opposed to running away.

Yes

3. Female actress who can tear up on command and scream a lot.

Sort of. It's the guy who seems to do much of the screaming and wide-eyed looking in horror. I guess he knew the Creeper had his number. Oops, spoiler. ;-)

4. Gratuitous nudity.

No shower scenes for no reason, no spontaneous co-ed skinnydipping. What a pity. If that girl had showed her naughty bits, this film could have gotten another star. Because she's a cutie.

5. People getting trapped somewhere

Yes

6. Rubber-face bad guy who's identity and face is revealed too early.

Yes

7. Music score climbs to a crescendo just to let you know the baddie is about to strike (and ruining all sense of suspense)

Yes

8. Old man/lady who mysteriously knows everything about the evil that is blah blah blah

Yes

9. Dumb indifferent cops

Yes

Hmmmm. Yep. Jeepers Creepers is your typical teen slasher flick. But alright, I'll say something positive about the movie then. The song that plays over the opening credits is darn catchy. Hush! Hush! Here comes the boogieman. It's by Henry Hall!

Summary: This was amazing!
Review: "Jeepers Creepers" leaves you with an unsettling sense of loss, period! Down with the debunkers and complainers! What do they know, everyone else who saw this movie thought it was scary, so why is so criminally underated? This is incredible with it's atmosphere, and next to Michael Myers and Jason Voorhees, well let's just say it would be a good fight between the three of them. Jeepers Creepers 2 is coming out so before you see that watch it alone in the dark.
