Summary: Hellraiser, a movie you'll never forget.
Review: Incredible....period. Nothing more to say about this movie than what I just said. Despite some of it's VERY gruesome scenes, HELLRAISER stands out from any other horror movie, being the top on the charts. Like a few other's said before, the movie may be a little draggy from time to time, but that's where the story comes in, during those parts. Overall, it's a great movie, but people with weezy stomachs, I would suggest you try A Nightmare on Elm Street instead.

Summary: I refuse to watch this movie alone!
Review: The first time I saw this film, I was 12 years old. I didn't sleep for three nights. Now, almost ten years later, I still refuse to watch this film alone in the dark. It's so scary! The best part of this horror flick is that the heroine does not deal with just one kind of evil; she actually has two. One kind are the creepy hellish Cenobites, and the other is her blood-sucking dead uncle Frank. The whole trick with this film is that she has to decide which evil to fight, and the only way she can do that is by siding with either one or the other. Not much of a choice, I'm afraid! This film is full of some of the most stomach-turning scenes ever brought forth on the screen. It will make you think twice about who your relatives are, and who your relatives marry. It's creepy, it's sick, and it's one of the scariest films I have ever seen. Remind me to never pick up a puzzle box from exotic traders; I wouldn't want the gates of hell to be opened. Good luck trying to watch this one alone!

Summary: The best British horror film ever made!
Review: What can I say? This is one of the best horror films I've ever seen. It's so clever, both script and characters. This original spawned 3 sequels to date but none of them live up to this mordern masterpiece of horror. I strongly recommend HELLRAISER (Not for the faint hearted.)

Summary: A Disturbing Tale of Gore and Guts
Review: A man named Frank Cotton opens an exotic puzzle box, hoping that it will open the doorways to the pleasures of either heaven or hell. What he got was the pain and torture of hell. After spending some time dormant in the floor boards of an upstairs attic, he is resurrected by the blood of his brother, and must feast on more blood to become fully whole again. This movie which was scripted and directed by horror writter Clive Barker has been highly regarded as a horror classic. Its loaded with blood and guts and comes with quite an interesting plot. Very entertaining and watchable. Based on the novel 'The Hellbound Heart' by Clive Barker.

Summary: Pinhead Pinhead, quite contrary, how does your pinhead grow?
Review: In our film history, we shall see such films that are hailed as the greatest film of all time. But this film is hardly the greatest. A girl visiting her father and stepmother stumbles upon a rubix cube that releases representatives from hell who want her stepmother's former lover back in their clutches and will excuse her from her stupidity in a business transaction. I didn't lose you, did I? Too sick to watch alone, and too sad to share the experience with friends. Settle for happy medium.

Summary: NOT WIDESCREEN!
Review: There's no reason to say any word about Hellraiser... Everyone who ever saw it know how fantastic this masterpiece realy is.

I own the collector's Edition, and so i know it is definitifly not Widescreen. I don't know if there is an error by amazon or i get the wrong tape, but it IS labeled as the collectors edition and not widescreen.

Summary: Buy it, or your suffering will be legendary, even in Hell!
Review: This picture deals with the human mind, how it can betray you by doing something that it can't resist. Clive Barker wrote the story, which this movie is based on. It's very suspenseful, and the whole 4-movie series is very confusing unless you FIRST SEE THIS ONE. Very gory, a little sex, some language, all horror. Graet stuff.

Summary: The Mother of Horror Anthology's
Review: Like HELLBOUND: HELLRAISER II, there are several versions of this film available, but the uncut/letterboxed version is by far the best (BEWARE OF EP SPEED RELEASES). This film is full of gore and is fun from beginning to end. Great Special effects for it's time and budget. See the next film and decide which one's better, because I can't. Regardless, this is the first film of four that make up the greatest horror anthology out there. Pinhead is the king of all bad guys.

Summary: Hellraiser
Review: Clive Barker is one of my all time favorites. He has incredible mind power and dares to take you beyond the endless limits of the darker side of the human imagination. A definite horror classic. My all time fave.
