Review: Personally I thought that the movie was amazing and spooky and the acting was "beautiful" and the part where Heather has the camera to her face and she was saying sorry to Mike's and Josh's mom and her own mother and father,really stole the show. What really confused me,at the end of the video it was when they showed extra footage that was found I thought that they were goin to show the original people that went to the woods but instead they showed the actors.

Review: What I really get sick of hearing is "If you didn't like it you didn't understand it"...all people are different and have different likes and dislikes, just because I found this movie to be BORING, UNscary, and plain old UNentertaining, DOESN'T mean I didn't UNDERSTAND it. I DID understand it, I GOT the point, I just DIDN'T CARE because it was so LOUSILY done(in my opinion), and I am one that gives movies a VERY wide berth when I watch them, I can find a good point with just about ANY movie, the only one I could find with this movie was that it only cost them (LUCKY for them, but they were OVERCHARGED) $35,000 to make. I think a LOT of people bought into the hype before going to see it and are just afraid to ADMIT that they didn't like it. I LOVE documentaries and indie films, but this one was a BITTER disappointment (for ME).

Review: This is an unintentionally funny movie because of its poor castand production values. It is hard to believe that this was the sensation of a few months ago -- kind of the hula hoop of 1999. About halfway through the movie, after hearing Heather whine and say "f***" too often, I began to pull for the witch!

Review: Maybe in a darkened theatre this movie was frightening, but on the home screen it left a lot to be desired. The ending however was done rather well. The guy standing in the corner was a neat flash back to the research they had done before they went and got themselves lost. It gave the movie a sufficiently spooky ending. That is why I gave it two stars instead of one.

Review: I have never seen fear like this before. yeah they swore alot...so does every Mafia film (Godfather etc.) the fear of the actors was very genuine and the movie REALLY creeped me out...not cinema masterpiece but pretty good...the DVD had some cool stuff on it

Review: I saw it twice in the theater (the second time by myself), thenhad my husband rush out and buy me the video for my birthday. I guess I'm one of those imaginative, empathetic types because I could totally put myself in the place of the characters, thereby succeeding in scaring the cr** out of myself. I could have done without the "F" word so many times, but the rest of it was so great, I'm willing to overlook that minor complaint. Not only do I never want to go camping, I didn't even want to walk my dog in the back yard after I saw it! One of the scariest movies I've ever seen.

Summary: A Must Watch
Review: If you have read the reviews of the movie from others or heard how scary it is, don't bother watching it. The magic in the movie is that you are not sure whether the movie is real and added to the fact that there are no special effects, it made it all the more authentic. I am not going to give away any more details as it will just spoil it for you. Just watch it or rent it and don't raise your expectation and this will probably be one of the best movies that come out this year for you. The suspense is in the mystery of the autheticity, don't bother finding out any more.

Review: This is one of the most exciting movies I have seen in a long time. It left me on the edge of my seat. I thought that the movie was a little scary but most of all sad because it was based on a true story. The acting in this movie was excellent!!

Summary: Brilliant, Scary -- and Fun
Review: This movie scared the hell outta me. Watched it on Halloween at midnight, which may or may not have been a good idea. Worked, if nothing else. My girlfriend thought that the characters deserved what they got. Of course, who hasn't wanted to see a bunch of moviemakers get in over their heads & suffer the consequences? I sure have. But to prove that it really did scare her, when she went to the bathroom at 3 that morning, I went and stood in the corner and waited for her to come back. Her piercing shrieks would've fit right in the movie.
