Summary: Boring
Review: This movie was so boring. A tent shaking, leaves crackling, and sticks and rocks being left around a tent is hardly frightening. This movie was so predictable and was so disappointing.

Summary: No Plot, No Direction, No Payoff.
Review: This movie is all hype. All build-up, no pay-off, and no real scares. It could have been an *okay* movie, but the gimmick gets old and the end is horrible. Ford said to make a good movie you need three good scenes and no bad ones. This movie has (maybe) two good scenes and about 7-10 bad ones, but what do you expect? No script, no director. Any coherence that emerges from this mess is due to the editors (who deserve some credit...some). If you want impromptu film making, rent Breathless. If you want scares, get the Exorcist. If you didn't waste your money on the movie in the theatre, don't spend it now!

Summary: A New Horror Flick?
Review: The Blair Witch Project was one of the most well done horror flick of our time. Why do i think its so good? well, maybe because the whole story line is realistic to the point of no return? or maybe because it was realistic because a few REAL kids filmed it. people don't like it because it doesn't have real film stars like brad pitt, or because there are no special effects to make it look more fake. well, i give this movie 6 stars!

Summary: Wonderful! Scary, original and fun!
Review: This movie is without a doubt the best horror movie ever made. "Psycho" was my original choice for favorite horror movie, but this out does it. What I can't get over is how scary it is. Perfectly put together, it puts horror on film like never done before. It is so scary! It's a movie all of us could have made and wish we did. Heather is annoying. There is no doubt about that. I can see why she would be that annoying, but she didn't have to take it to that level. Still, one of the best best movies ever made. Who knew?

Summary: This movie is a love or hate film! I loved it.
Review: I can understand why some people did not like this film..unfortunately their reasons for not likeing it do not strike true to me. The suspense in this movie exhausted me and the ending is something my friends and I still discuss. The movie is not your usual film, no blood, no guts and no creepy mosters or people for you to focus on. The fear is all in your own head. There has been too much fo the slasher horror films for some to fully understand or enjoy this film. They are too used to the fear being visualized for them instead if letting their own imagination take them there. This movie is an excellent self induced fear-fest and if you are not the kind of person to let go and let your subconcious scare you then you will not like this film. I trully hope they do not make a sequel but leave this masterful film as a one shot film.

Summary: Not For The Desensitized
Review: I was so happy to see a movie that finally allowed its audience to think for itself and completely did away with the use of skeletons popping out of closets and overdone special effects. The premise was fresh, it was executed in a novel manner, and this movie will still be scary 20 years from now, as the horror comes from what the viewer makes of the film, whereas an effects laden film will simply appear ridiculous when technology marches on. Definitly not for everyone, but for a thinking individual who loves to theorise...well, this is the film for you.

Summary: The Most original idea in a long time....
Review: I very much enjoyed this movie. Was I scared, NO. But I did appreciate the type of suspense, by not knowing or seeing what was out there, that was brought out in the film. In an era of BIG budgets and costly special effects this movie was quite refreshing. I recommend it highly.

Summary: Groundbreaking and outstanding movie.
Review: Many people expected to see another high tech movie thriller. This wasn't meant to be a big time hit, that is why the camera work wasn't outstanding. The point is, is that the people who made this movie dared to break the mold of your traditional "scary" movie. In that respect, it is outstanding. I found the plot captivating because I didn't find out it wasn't real until after the movie. This movie plays off of your own fears better than any movie I have ever seen, for that reason it is an instant classic, much in the same respect as Citizen Kane, Psyco, and so on.

Summary: More emotional terror than visual. That's why it's unique.
Review: The Blair Witch Project isn't one of your big budget thrillers, like The Haunting, or The Mummy (both of which I loved, no offense there.). It has to do more with emotions, and what makes people do what they do. It forces you to examine what you would do in the same situation. There aren't any big special effects and no set script. This is more emotional terror. You see these kids pushed to the brink of insanity. You see what happens between them. How the emotional strain of what is going on around them is going to affect their personal relationships, and their behavior. And, if you are just in it for the sheer entertainment, you won't be dissapointed. This is one terrifying movie. I mean, when I was watching it, it's like, wow, this could be me and my friends. That makes it all that scarier. It seems so real. I highly reccommend it!

Summary: Using Windows is scarier than the Blair Witch Project.
Review: One positive about this film is the fact it does seem like a real documentary. Another is that the characters finally stop whining and crying at the end. Though the friend I went with (her third viewing) was terrified (her word) the first time, for me giving up Linux and going back to Windows would be scarier.
