Summary: Scary as hell....
Review: Wow! This movie was a scary one. This shows another power of Indy movies. The way the directors show the footage was so real. That was scary..... Some people say that this movie was a sick movie, but I understand it. I was dizzy, but it was so scary I almost pissed on my pants! The real horror is after you see it. Flix like Scream or other slasher films make some instant thrills, but it gives you nothing after. Just an entertaining film. But movies like The Exorcist or The Blair Witch Project will leave the horror in your memories.I personally think that it was the scariest film since The Exorcist. On top of that, look at the budget! The movie director who made a movie which starts with the letter 'T' and ends with a 'C', should look and learn. This film proves that movies require more skills than a famous director, actor, or a high budget.

Summary: EXCELLENT, IMAGINATION TRIGGERING MOVIE
Review: If you have a BRAIN and IMAGINATION this movie is definately for you. If you don't then I suggest that you stick with the latest offering of the Scream films. I am 35 years old and I have not lost sleep over a movie since I was 12. This movie took me back to a time when things that go bump in the night were potential unseen monsters ready to pounce at any moment. The movie is like a good horror novel. It seems scary and real because YOU make it that way through your own imagination.

Summary: The Blair Witch is still scaring me.
Review: This movie is one that will leave a lasting impact if you have some imagination. No other movie has scared me psychologicaly like this since Lost Highway. The Blair Witch is one that is hard to sit through because it makes you curl into your seat or just freeze until the chilling end. If it doesn't scare you twenty minutes after it's over then you must not be a thinker.

Summary: Absolutely amazing!
Review: I haven't seen a horror movie this fresh, exciting and compelling in years. Although "wobbly-cam" did give me motion sickness, I finally got to see the whole movie without interruption thanks to the wonders of Dramamine. Bravo to the cast and crew of Blair Witch!

Summary: Could they go camping any less prepared?
Review: One compass? One map? No Cell Phone? Throwing the map away? Oh well I guess cigarettes was all they needed. Aside from the fact the characters were thoroughly repulsive, a nice attempt at being different than the "I know what you did 3 summers ago" type movie.

Summary: At least no NAKED spice girls were in it....
Review: Either you loved the movie, or you hated it. I sat on both sides of the movie and heard clearly both viewpoints of the subject. Yes, this movie had only implied violence. Yes, this movie left a lot to the imagination. Yes, this movie can give you motion sickness.

No, this movie does not suck. No, this movie does not have naked spice girls in it. No, this movie does not have any huge show biz names like that guy who happily died in both "Romeo and Juliet" and "the titanic". But in my opinion- that is what makes this movie great. It's an independent film. It's not the special effects that make a movie great... it's the idea behind them. It's the thought or idea that gets in your head and won't leave untill you check under your bed at night. That is why this movie was great. It's just like a small guy with a big voice, finally getting his chance to be heard. I've heard enough trash talk about this movie. Watch it for what it is, and for what it isn't. The more you think, the better the movie gets. And quite frankly, if you don't think-- you won't like the movie.

Summary: Over-hyped; not worth the admisson price.
Review: I really wanted to enjoy this movie, however, it just did not live up to the hype. It was not scary, and the 3 students were so annoying that it was hard to care about what happened to them. At the end of the film, I just sat in my seat and said to myself, "This CAN'T be the end." A big disappointment.

Summary: One of its kind
Review: As many would say, the less you know about the movie, the better. And it certainly lives up to its reputation and tagline. The directors have done a pretty good job of "editing" the footages together. It would have been a better effort if the ending was improved.

Summary: It Doesn't Hit You Until After It's Over...
Review: The neat thing about The Blair Witch Project was that it's full effect didn't hit until after the movie was over, when you are standing in the parking lot and can digest the whole story...the movie was so in-your-face because the characters are your friends, your ex, your brother, YOURSELF... You immediately place that in context, and BLAM! It hits your gut like a ton of bricks...Watch this one in the dark, in the boonies and by yourself...Four stars....
