Review: I was so dissapointed in this movie. I was looking forward to it and when I finally got to see it, I wasn't scared at all. I don't understand how people have gotten so scared.

Summary: Creepy!! I couldn't stop thinking about it!
Review: It was great to see a horror movie that left a little bit to the imagination. I saw it with three friends, and afterwards, we all came to different conclusions about what the "Blair Witch" actually was. I am sure that anyone who's been on a camping trip out in the middle of no-where can relate to the feelings the three characters were experiencing through the course of the movie. This is definitely one to buy and watch over and over again.

Summary: Surprisingly Overrated.
Review: While many critics hailed this movie as refreshing and innovative, I had quite the opposite reaction. For me, low budget and independent do not have to be synonymous with complete lack of filmmaking technique, which is what I saw in this grossly overrated film. Examples of films done on a shoestring budget that show dazzingly skillful and inventive technique include "pi", Sam Raimi's "Evil Dead", and Michael Almerayda's vampire flick, "Nadja". "Blair Witch" on the other hand, looked like it could have been made by any minimally competent group of college film students or cable access producers, once given the original premise.

Review: Here's the bottom line to seeing this movie and enjoying it: use your imagination. People who need their hands held every step of the way and need everything explained to them shouldn't see this movie. For those of us fortunate enough to be open minded and who have thought about the possibilities about what actually goes bump in the night, this is the movie for you. For those critics who have nothing but bad things to say about this movie, keep in mind that you aren't the ones who only spent $30,000 on making this movie and have grossed over a gazillon dollars so far. Money talks...you know what walks... Gotta be something good in the movie if the producers and company have made that much money so far.

Review: This movie is not scary at all. I was very disapointed. The only remotely scary or interesting part is the end. The rest is just a bunch of the cast yelling and crying and shots of the forest floor. It is annyoing and boring. It was a good idea for a movie and creative how the actors filmed it themselves, but I am very disapointed. I was not scared, and I get scared pretty easily.

Review: If you are the type of person that remember walking alone at night or just by yourself and remember the little noises that shakes you up and give you that erie feeing, the Blair Witch does it all. It scares you so badly that you think that you are actually there yourself about to die. It is so good that you don't want to be alone at all. This movie also test how much pressure your heart can take when something just happens out of the blue. The acting was so real that you feel as if you are there yourself. But as for as the movie goes, it is one that you'll buy and watch with a group.
