Summary: Absolute trash
Review: I really wanted to enjoy this movie but actually fell asleep during the last 30 minutes. It is truly a waste of time -- save your money.

Summary: Great Film
Review: This movie truly scared me. I had just about lost hope in the horror movie category. Everything is always the same. This movie comes to you at an entirely new angle. It plays on your mind. It plays on your fears. For the people who don't "Get" the ending try to remember what the fisherman said about the manner in which the little children died. This should clear up Mike's predicament. True, the movie isn't gory and there isn't any visible monster, but for the unimpressed, try to imagine walking through the woods and encountering graves(not just rocks people),the stick figures, hell just go walk through the woods in the middle of the night, and think about the witch, no doubt it will scare ya.

Summary: Use your imagination for a truly spine tingling experience
Review: For those of you writing poor reviews about the BWP, you probably went in the theater expecting the equivalence of a Hollywood production with hokey ghosts and goblins. Not to mention, writing something like "this was the most stupidest movie ever" says a lot about the intelligence of the critic. Yes you do need a level of intelligence to understand the background and the ending. For the most part though, if you lack imagination, then you will find it boring and a waste of money. For those of us with an imagination, the BWP is a brilliant cult classic with an overwhelming sense of realism. The realism is what makes it scary. It's a shame the reviewers giving it a poor rating couldn't experience it. This is a movie that will go down in history as being the first one to integrate two mediums - film and the internet. It has to be the most cunning marketing strategy since the birth of the internet. If you haven't seen it yet (I really envy you), check out the website and then watch the movie. Refrain from expectations, open your mind, and imagine yourself being there with them. Don't forget to turn off the lights.

Summary: A movie about three people arguing constantly w/bad language
Review: I thought this was the worst movie I have ever seen. Three people arguing and saying F--- for close to two hours!

Summary: This movie was a tremendous disappointment.
Review: I rented this movie and took it home with the intention of watching it after dark, alone, in the basement. I fully anticipated being scared out of my wits after reading some of the reviews like the one that said BWP was the scariest thing since the Exorcist. After sitting through the tape in its entirety the thing that I found most scary is that we have apparently become a society of wimps who would actually be frightened by such drivel. I am not immune to fear but BWP just didn't have it.

Summary: Only slightly more fun than watching paint dry
Review: Very interesting premise -- three filmmakers mysteriously vanish after lost a week in the woods, their discovered footage the only clue as to what happened -- completely undermined by trendy hand-held 'hey kids, let's make a documentary' style. Ultimately disappointing and frustrating. Too much running through the woods shrieking with no payoff at all. Now make the 'real' movie about this!

Summary: A watershed work
Review: I can certainly appreciate those of you who didn't like this movie, because all of the questions were valid. However, I felt that those were the very reasons that it was so good. The evil is whatever the viewer wants to make it. This is not to say that the people who hated this movie have no imagination, just that you will get out of it only what you take with you. Personally, I thought that the acting was incredible. I mean, they acted completely normally, and the scene in the tent was fantastic when she talks to the camera. Her nostrils were flaring, she was crying, shaking, utterly terrified. I have never seen anyone do thet good of a job on selling fear. This comes as such a refreshment after waiting for years for a scary horror film. Basically this message is to say that you should see it and judge for yourself. Don't listen to us.

Summary: You need to be intelligent to watch this !
Review: This film is by far the best film I have seen in years. It seems that people watching this film don't understand it at all. The rocks, sticks etc are not meant to be scary. This film is very powerfull with deep meaning which most people can't see when they watch this film. I don't want to explain it as this would spoil it for people who have not yet seen this film. But if you understand it, it is great.
