Summary: ...very small, very twisted, and very mad...
Review: The ads for this cult classic proudly displayed Rex Reed's quote ("The sickest movie I've ever seen"). It's a horror-comedy about Duane Bradley (Kevin VanHentenryck), a soft-spoken, mild-mannered young man who takes his little brother Belial to New York City. What's sick about that? Well, Belial is Duane's deformed, telepathically bonded Siamese twin, who lives in a wicker basket and looks like a snaggle-toothed hamburger patty. The brothers hole up in a dingy hotel (Hotel Broslin!) and track down the three doctors who surgically separated them. Laughable stop-motion animation, explicit gore, and an extremely bad-taste sex scene push this $35,000 first feature by Frank Henenlotter off limits to all but the most decadent viewers, which means people like me and YOU, if you've read this far. Vile fun if you're in the right mood and company; this isn't the kind of movie you take home to meet your mom. Followed by two progressively cretinous sequels, also by Henenlotter. Stick with this movie, "Brain Damage," and "Frankenhooker."

Summary: TALK ABOUT A FACE-OFF!
Review: The ultimate revenge film presented the way it deserves to be!
A boy and the twisted lump of flesh that is his brother comb the streets of new york in search of the doctor's who did some very bad things to them long ago. The two, who are brothers, won't stop untill every last one of them pays the price! The lump hides in a basket and is carried around to various locations where he is unleashed on the guilty. But the normal looking brother starts to fall in love and tensions arise...
This film is a classic all the way. The DVD transfer here is amazing. The good folks at 'something wierd video' have cleaned this baby up and its as pristine and crisp as it can be. The sound mix is creepy good fun. And the thing is loaded with special features that any fan of this film will appreciate.
'In search of the hotel broslin' is my favorite.
We get generous helpings of gore in this one. Medical instruments to the face, claws ripping off faces, claws tearing into guts, claws grabbing gonads and on and on. Will satisfy the gorehounds.
T&A: some pretty large chest pillows make an appearance towards the end of the film. The ladies get brother belial nude.

Summary: kevin vanhentenryck rules!
Review: This film stars one of the most underrated film actors of all time, Kevin VanHentenryck. It is a touching, horrific film about brotherly love and the need to be a separate person. Kevin embodies the role of Duane Bradley beautifully and evokes such emotion from the viewing audience. Plus his angelic face and gorgeous pale blue eyes only make the viewing more enjoyable! A must-see.

Summary: Cult Classic Is A BASKET CASE
Review: This is a twisted, gory, funny movie about a man named Duane Bradley who carries his deformed midget brother, Belial, around in a wicker basket--their mission is to take revenge on the doctors who seperated them when they were young. This movie has everything and a little bit more. Also be sure to check out BASKET CASE 2, but stay away from BASKET CASE 3.

Summary: Sick but Funny
Review: This movie got to be one of the sickest and disgusting horror movies ever release, this is a low budget film with poor picture quality but extremely funny. The main character his belial not his brother who is sexually frustrated and just ruins all his brothers dates (interprate it any way you like)

Summary: Before "Stuck on You", there was Basketcase.
Review: This movie is just way too ugly looking to be good. I know special effects shouldn't matter, but sometimes you need just a little bit to help push a picture along. I like the whole premise about the two brothers. I think they should remake it into modern day.

Summary: Sick little horror flick
Review: This movie was nothin like Ive ever seen before. Funny, original and scary all at the same time. Although it didnt get much recognition at the box office I thought it was a great movie and Id recomment this movie to anyone who feels like watchin somethin different then your ordinary slasher film.

Summary: GRUESOME ENTERTAINMENT
Review: This slice of other-life, although unlikely, sustains ones interest in the bizzare. Imagine your carnivorous twin attached, with a hungry wrathh to do ill will, and smarter than you. Telepathically employed, wise-acre Beliahl, guides his brother done an everlasting lane of madness and contortion. Troubled by his awkward appearence, and confused by reactions of passer-bys, he decides to kill them all. Pusillanimous, he gets his brother to do it. Not for the weak of heart.

Summary: A classic indeed!!!!!
Review: When an acquaintence first enlightened me about this film, I was about seven years old and already quite disturbed. The purveyor of this information was a girl about two years older than I was (who would attempt to rape me in later years, but I digress), and she was completely sickened by both its concept and copious gore. I cannot describe how intrigued I was. I rented the film three years later, and viewed a sick little piece of cult/horror brilliance that has remained one of my two favorite movies to this day. The plot concerns the misadventures of two separated siamese twins who are ultimately destroyed by the "Normal" brother's lust for a woman, in their journey to exterminate the inept doctors who performed their fateful surgery. To say any more is to deprive the reader of the multitude of sickening surprises that await one brave enough to purchase this DVD. And you should purchase it. Right now. Go ahead. Purely on my reccommendation, PURCHASE IT RIGHT NOW!!! If you are interested in the longevity of your purchase, buy the DVD. If you do not particularly care, would like a bevy of extras, and want to see the film in its original, grainy format, buy the video. Anticlimatic ending to this review. I apologize.
