Summary: this movie is cool but not scarry
Review: I first saw this movie last year I love horror movies and this is a pretty cool one. Its about a young couple always fighting(or atleast that is what the book said) and they run over a kid that was already dead they go to this little town Called Gatlin wich is a small dead town that has nothing but corn and kids in it but there is no phone so they can't report the murder. this Stephen king video was realy cool. There is nothing scary about this movie it is alittle weird it has curses in it and some blood but it is not as bad at the 6th one(Children of the corn 666 isaacs return) that one showes a little more blood than this one does but not bad I still don't think it is scary at all. if you are planning to watch this movie don't watch the 6th one first because you will get way off and get confused. My favorite charactors in this film are the bad guyes because I think it is funny when how they think they are God and everbody should worship them but that is my openion. Well I hope I havn't spoiled it for all you guys if I did well now I guess you know what it is about more than you think. So pop some popcorn and watch a corn movie. Enjoy!!!!!!

Summary: The Orignal film
Review: Many fans and critics of the horror gene has given the children of the corn films a bad reputation. But, ignore them and focus on the film itself and what you think of it. There is six children of the corn films in the sereis, leaving no room for a seventh at the end of the sixth film (CHILDREN OF THE CORN 666 ISAACS RETURN). If you read the book Night Shift, Children Of The Corn is orgianlly a short story that was written by Stephen King. Of course, the book is completely different from the movie. The movie has a good ending while the book does not. There is features on this film [Amazon.com] just didn't put it in. There is a theatrical trailer, 5X7 theatrical poster, 16 page collector's booklet, dolby digital 5.1, and widescreen 1.85:1 (ANAMORPHIC). The first children of the corn film that was released to dvd was Children Of The Corn 666 Isaac's Return which had no features. This film is a good and entertaining campy film that lives up to the title. Anchor Bay did do a good

job on doing it. So if you own a dvd player and a VHS copy of the film then get rid of the VHS copy and buy this one.

Summary: Children Of The Corn
Review: Children Of The Corn is a classic horror movie that stands out. It is choppy for it's time, but that is normal. I am relieved that this title is going to hit Dvd soon. Can't wait. The book was different, and it was different from the movie. The book and the movie are the same thing except for the movie there is a good ending, and the book has a bad ending. I herd that children Of The Corn won't contain too many features. But here is a few: Widescreen, Theatrical Trailer, commentary with Stephen King, and more. It is good and the 6th sequel proves to be better.

Summary: skip the movie, read the short story in "Night Shift" by SK
Review: I remember channel surfing at about age 10 or 11 and coming across this movie on tv. I lived in a very rural area with lots of corn fields. I'm grasping now: but some of the "images" in this film work on a horror level. Particularly the boy running in the corn field at the beginning and the couple driving on the desolate highway surrounded by corn. But that's about it. This movie plays like a really cheesy made-for-tv movie. I'd never seen the whole thing and watched it tonight. This is the kind of movie to watch with a few friends on a "bad movie" night because it's fodder for you to shout at the screen. This is the kind of movie that is fun to make fun of if only MST3K were to have gotten a hold of this one. I love Stephen King and horror films--I am a buff but skip this one and read the AWESOME short story which is genuinely creepy. Thank God people like Frank Darabont make GREAT Stephen King adaptions now. Don't treat this as a "Stephen King" flick but as cheesy, late-night guilty fun. I won't "ruin" the ending but I was rather dissappointed.

Summary: Funny
Review: I'm sorry, but my best friend and I could watch this movie, over and over and over. In fact, we did. We have the entire movie memorized. This may seem scary to some, but this movie is so funny! Each line is classic, and has it's own individual spice.

Summary: Creepy and Chilling Atmosphere
Review: I would consider myself a horro-genre fan....I've seen them all. This movie is one of my favorites. I can understand how many people think that this movie seems silly and stupid. My only defense is that these people didn't try to get "into" the film. What the movie lacks in budget and special effects, is more than made up by a very creepy and chilling atmosphere. Although the pace of the movie may seem slow, it is actully for its benefit. If you really try to get into the movie, you begin to understand how creepy it is that childsren are being possessed. All in all if you are a horro-genre fan, you have to see it. it is up there with The Shining, Exorcist, and Nightmare on Elm Street (no joke). Stay away from the sequels (although #4 wasn't that bad actually--haven't seen the last one yet).

Summary: This movie is boring
Review: Married couple get lost on the road and end up in a town where the population is all kids who killed their parents and worship some god who protects their crops. While the mass murder scene in the diner at the beginning and the sacrifice at the end were both really cool, this movie is REALLY boring! Pizza.

Summary: Corn in more ways than one!
Review: Riddle: What do you get when you cross stupid adults, illogical action, ridiculous dialogue with some of the worst acting done by kids in all of history? No, it's not outtakes from "The Brady Bunch".If a person actually wants to sit through the film after reading this review, I won't give away the ending. Supposedly based on a short story by Stephen King (he should disown this production), it is one of the funniest movies since PLAN 9 FROM OUTER SPACE.A group of kids "own" a small town called Gatlin through a "religious cult". Enter a couple who wander in and the stupidity begins. The couple keep mentioning that they should leave the town and go to Hemingsford. One keeps hoping they will. Take my advice: if you want to put up with this kind of trash, watch re-runs of "The A-Team". One of the funniest lines in this tripe is: "He was already dead when he stumbled out on the road". Don't bother!

Summary: The best of the, so far, 6 movies.
Review: You can not miss this one. A great Stephen King movie that is worth every cent. Very original story which has the children killing all the adults in town. Scary in places and I'm sure die hard horror fans would really like this one.

There are 6 movies, so far, in this series but I think this one is the best. I was really disappointed with the other 5 so I suggest you go rent them before buying. Especially the last 2. I can't find the 4th one anywhere but online so I don't think I'll be seeing that one any time soon.
