Summary: Captures the campy feel of horror comic books.
Review: If you loved the old horror comic books you read when you were a kid, you will love this movie. As for the reviewer who finds this film so foolish, I would just respectfully say that this film was intended for entertainment. It's not supposed to be masterpiece theater.

Summary: SO ITS NOT THE BEST HORROR FILM AROUND....SO WHAT?
Review: Okay, Romero has done better with Dawn and Day, but lets look at how pathetic this movie is. The Tazmanian Devil in the crate...HA HA HA..That costume could be found on some person at a costume ball. Next we have the totally funny Meteor Fuzz on Stephen King. Terrible and yet so funny. Then we have "Wheres my cake Bedilia"...That zombie coming out of the ground was hilariously un-scary. Then theres my favorite one with Leslie Nielson and Ted Danson...I laughed my ass off at this one....So funny and childish.....HA HA HA HA HA...Next time, dont look at the positives or the negatives, look in between. Its truly a funny film.

Summary: One of the Best Horror collections around.
Review: Based on short stories written by Stephen King, George A. Romero (Dir. Night Of The Living Dead) has made a top-notch horror flick. This movie will make you laugh as well as make you cringe. King also has a role as a backwoods hillbilly farmer. If you are a horror buff this is a must see classic.

Summary: A classic in screen "Style".
Review: An outstanding cast in a group of horror stories that will make your skin crawl. A genuine example of the best in film style. Really captures the spirit of the old comic books with great graphics and editing. The E.G. Marshall episode with the roaches is for strong stomachs, but it is a delicious satire. A really "fun" movie!

Summary: very creepy
Review: A nice collection of short stories done by Stephen King. Although some people may find some of the stories strange. Because it's not the usual ghosts in haunted houses END

Summary: Stephen King IS an OUTSTANDING , AMAZING writer !
Review: For all of you that say " This book is not worth reading " or , " This book is pathetic and barely tolerable ", YOU'RE WRONG ! I would like to say that this is not one of his best books but it is very enjoyable . I would not critisize such a writer , it takes intelligence to scare someone with something you've written . When I read books by Mr. King , It's better than watching any movie or going anywhere because you make the people what you want them to be , look like , a movie in your head . I think everyone of his books are worth reading . I think everyone of his books are AMAZING !!!!!! SO THERE CRITICAL PEOPLE . Have a nice day (smile) END

Summary: Creepy and cool, the best short story horror movie
Review: This is, for me, the best short story horror film i seen so far. I seen a good amount, i am not going to say all but i seen enough to know what is good and not good. This is the best. I love all the stories, some have there weak moments but the one wih the moster in the box and the roaches are the best. I dont want to type a lot but pure in simple this movie is a good rental and worth 10 or 15 bucks in my book.

Summary: Creepshow ROCKS!!!!!!...The Best Movie of the 80s
Review: Creepshow is a well made horror/comedy from writer Stephen King and director George Romero. The movie is five tales about a man rising from dead wanting revenge,a dumb farmer(King) that had a meteorite landing on his farm and then turning him into a plant and his whole farmland turns the color green,a millionare buries a man on the beach and him and his dead girlfriend come back and take their revenge,a monster in a crate, and a professor and his loathe of cockroaches. Each tale is well made and well directed though the third one is the weakest the last one is the best. The movie is directed like a comic book with red and blue lighting in the scenes looking like a comic and there is cartoon segments. Anchor Bay needs to release a special edition just like they did with Creepshow 2(Decent sequel). The VHS version is the best way to watch while the DVD is bare-bones and fans complain the picture and transfer is terrible. The cast is good and includes E.G. Marshall,Adrienne Barbeau,Ted Danson,Leslie Nielsen,Hal Holbrook,Ed Harris, and Stephen King. Every horror/comedy fan should have Creepshow in their collection.

Summary: Refreshing
Review: a boy's horror comic book is thrown out by his annoying father. but the Creepshow crypt keeper shows up at the boys window and gives him a way to get rid of his father (you'll see this conclusion at the end of the movie). but for now, the comic book stories will begin...
stephen king is a great author. george romero is a great director. put the two together, and you know it'll be good. but, even though this is definatly good, it may not be what you can expect it to be. this is a tribute to 50's horror comics. now, for those of you who don't know much about the 50's horror: ITS VERY CHEESY. but cheese is not necessarily a bad thing. in "Creepshow", you get a collection of comic-book like stories (but don't worry, its not like the movie is a cartoon) that will surely give a breath of fresh air to old-time horror fans. some on here are quite funnny and utterly stupid. for example, we get to see stephen king on the screen as "Jordy Verrile"--a redneck who discovers a meteor in his back yard, yet begins to transform into a plant after he accidently gets "Meteor (...)" on him. others are laughable in the sense that they are so fake. for example, "The Crate" is a story about a monster (little rubber/hairy suit monster, by the way) that eats people. there is one with leslie neilson and ted danson, "Something To Tide You Over". danson and his girl are left to drown at the beach, yet come back to get revenge on the murderer as weed-infested zombies. one, called "They're Creeping Up On You", is the story of a grumpy old millionare who loves cleanliness (and hates bugs). but when roaches infest his sparkly white apartment, we get our share of gore. "Fathers Day" may be my favorite. it is about a woman who has murdered her father on fathers day, and returns to his grave every year to bid her respects. this time, pappa busts out of the grave as an old fashioned dirt skeleton still wanting his fathers day cake after all these years. the costume is for sure fake looking, but its one of the few skeleton-like corpses i've seen in a while. the part where he pops his hand up gets me every time! this movie is in no way scary, but that one part will always make me jump. this is a very nice film to own simply to have a look back at the cheese of the original horrors that gave us the beyond-the-grave spooks.
