Summary: Violent Fun
Review: This movie is your tipacal Quentin Tarantino type movie, only with a supernatural kind of vibe. This movie has everything from very disturbing violence to humor to cheesy vampire movie violence. Each actor played their charactor to perfection. George Clooney was both disturbing and funny at times and Harvey Keitel is the bomb in any kind of role he undertakes. This is a great movie but if you are a luster of hot women, like myself, then the whole movie is worth having because of Salma Hayek's stripper dance routine.

Summary: Interesting ...
Review: Apparently this was the movie Quentin really wanted to make. "From Dusk to Dawn" starts off with the traditional Quention recipe and I admit I found it disturbing in scenes. I had been told many years ago that there was a vampire theme in this, so wasn't sure if I had the right movie because there is no hint of that in the first half of the film. Suddenly it just changes and goes totally bizarre .... but as I said, this was a theme that Quention really wanted to pursue.
All I can say is, don't take the film seriously. Just sit back and enjoy. It will become a cult classic ... slowly but surely. George Clooney is brilliant in this.

DVD EVALUATION: Early DVD version had poor transfer and limited extras. Best to locate new Collectors version with sharp clear transfer and plenty of extras. Worth adding to your collection particularly if you enjoyed "Pulp Fiction".

Summary: Twisted film from masterminds Tarentino and Rodriguez...
Review: The first half of this hardcore action flick has George Clooney and Quentin Tarentino hijacking a mobile home to get across the border into Mexico. The second half is our heroes fighting off vampires in a strip club. The two don't come together very well, but both halves are executed perfectly with a cutting edge and some very cool dialogue. This film is all about blood, violence, and gore mixed with some T&A, making this a young man's dream movie. Constantly exciting and always taut, "From Dusk till Dawn" is the perfect movie for parties or just hangin out with the guys. The special effects are cool, the direction is slick and the acting is [excellent].

Summary: Tarantinio strikes again
Review: After the superb masterpiece Pulp Fiction came From Dusk Till Dawn which continued his consistently origanal flair for diversity. This wild, action-thriller sees two brothers going on a desperate crime spree. Quentin Tarantino puts in an effective performance as a completley deranged convict who aloingside the dynamic on-screen presence of George Clooney, kidnaps a preacher (played convincingly by Harvey Kietel) and his two children (which includes Juliette Lewis of Natural Born Killers). They flee for safety to a remote and eerie looking nightclub in Mexico. Whilst the film seems to be settling down as a compelling hostage drama it rapidly steers direction and is thrown into a darkly humorous horror movie as the nightclub is crawling with blood-thirsty vampires. The outrageous plot twists makes it all the more compelling and riveting and the scripts roll along like a rollercoaster. The special effects are vastly impressive and the energetic film making and engaging performances makes this truly another masterpiece to Tarantinos credit. Directed by Robert Rodriguez, his in-your-face shocker is an absolute must see. From Dusk Till Dawn makes a comfortable transistion to DVD and there are some extra features to be found beyond the movie making this collectors edition essential.

Summary: One of the worst
Review: This show is terrible. I can't believe there are sequels. The last half of the show drags out on and on. I fast forwarded through it just to get it over with. Please don't waste your money. I tried to give this show no stars, but unfortunately the system requires at least 1.

Summary: Great Film..
Review: This film is great for what it is. Granted there are not any new twists on the vampire theme really, but it is kinda fun to hear a preacher say that hes a mean mother **cking servant of god. Good acting and camera work. not too bad on the special FX. ( considering this isnt a huge buget film, they cant go CGI with everything.) deffinetly recomend this one.

Summary: Two gangsters walk into a bar...
Review: Let's face it: the guys who made this gutsy tough guy movie knew they crossed the line in just about every aspect...and from the looks of the outcome, they had a blast and so do we.
Many movies have successfully combined action and horror, the best-made and probably greatest of all being Romero's masterpiece Dawn of the Dead, made in 1979. Then came 1996, a new era of style, humor, and violence...this was Tarantino's era.
After the incredible Reservoir Dogs and Pulp Fiction, Tarantino tried his hand at horror and succeeded. George Clooney and QT himself play two merciless, totally out of control (but somehow lovable of course) gangsters who find themselves fending off hundreds of vampires in a seedy Mexican club...this is truly the ultimate story of two guys who walked into the wrong bar.
Right from the opening sequence, you just know that anything is possible in this wild, wild movie. Within the first five minutes, Clooney and Tarantino execute a cop, engage in a shootout with a clerk, and set fire to a building. There is great dialogue of course, and the camerawork via Robert Rodriguez is amazing; some action scenes in this movie are still unparalled. The movie is very, very stylish and often completely over the top, and that's what makes it so powerful and enjoyable. Not for everyone, but for those who love non-stop, hard-hitting action, this movie will blow you away.
