Rating: Summary: will there be a pt 4 Review: in scream 3 it was a o.k. movie but wes craven should have focus on the plot of the story he focused very much on 1 and 2 but in number 3 the story didn't make any sense at all the beginning of the movie was good, and they had some suspense scenes that was good but the only characters that were good was neve campbell, lieve schribner, and parker posey this horror film should have been made better but what can you say no body is perfect also one more thing neve campbell she really kicked some but in this movie.
Rating: Summary: Return of the slasher! Review: When I first watch Scream I didn't know what to expect, I didn't really like horror movies and only watch it as all my college friends were. The result of this movie was simple, I don't think I ever enjoyed a film as much. Then there was Scream 2, which was again a good movie, but not as good as the original, as it was pretty much the same, and the posible killers limited. So, when Scream 3 was released, I had to see it, but I didn't really expect a lot. Scream 3 was brilliant, maybe not as good as the first, but better than the second. The number of possible killer was again huge and the twists regular. The story sorta goes like this....its the set of Stab 3, and the killings again start, with the cast members being killed in the order they were in the script. Dewy is on set as a technical advisor, and Gail Weathers is helping the police find the killer. The murders revole around the life of Sydneys (who's living in the woods, but soon becomes involoved) mother Maureen Prescott, and then explains the basis of all the movies. Scream 3 completes the story, it is very clever filmand without doubt the best horror since Scream. I hope the DVD will do it justice, as both Scream and 2 are presented on poor disks. Please let them end Scream on a high, don't ruin a good thing.
Rating: Summary: The Best of Them All Review: I'm a huge fan of the Scream movies and I can tell you that this was the best movie of them all. I love to watch horror flicks for the simple reason that they don't scare me but when I went to go see Scream, I jumped out of my skin. It was not only scary but funny and a great use of imagination, and you can't say that about a lot of films! Go see it, you'll love it!
Rating: Summary: Fantastic film for Scream fans Review: I saw this movie about a week ago. I know the general public did not think that this film would have anything original or interesting about it. I strongly disagree. To me, this film was both suspenseful and funny (especially in the Parker Posey scenes). I did think the ending was somewhat surprising since I am usually able to figure out who the killer(s) is/are. I highly recommend watching this film, even if you are not a Scream fan.
Rating: Summary: the perfect end to a great trilogy! Review: The wait to see this movie was truly unbearable...as a horror movie fiend, I couldn't wait until the premiere of this movie, purchasing my tickets the night before and arriving at the theatre early...I was so excited...well...my wait was over...I sat back...and enjoyed...this movie was great...just the fact that it was the final "Scream" made it great...it had a much different tone from the previous two films..and Kevin Williamson's loss from the screenplay is evident...but the movie was still suspenseful, still exciting, and still fun to watch... with some clever cameos and great secondary characters who were obviously put there to die...but who cares...they were great....the perfect end to the best horror movie series ever...even though I wouldnt consider the series horror....I absolutely loved this movie and saw it twice and Im gonna see it plenty more....highly recommended....
Rating: Summary: The best of the SCREAMs! Review: This is a really well written movie. It has a killer twist like the book, AND THEN THERE WERE NONE. Sure, when this DVD comes out, I will be after it. This is the best that the writters of SCREAM made. During the movie, you laugh hard... then... right when you laugh, you SCREAM. Surely perfect and ideal for dates.
Rating: Summary: Scream3 put the Prescott Nightmare to rest Review: I don't wanna give it away, but this was the best of the 3. Neve, Courtney, & David are oustanding as usual as Sidney, Gale, & Dewey. But the most standout performance in this is Parkey Posey playing the character of Gale Weathers for Stab3. Her scenes are incredible and provide some laughter inbetween the blood and gore. A must see and a must own. Hopefully and 3-Scream Box set will be underway.
Rating: Summary: Good, but... Review: I thought that Sream 3 was a good ending to the tilogy. I liked it. For the first time in all three movies, I guessed the wrong person as the killer. I guess that my only problem with the movie was the fact that they used that tape with Randy on it (if you haven't seen the movie, this will not ruin it for you.) I thought that that part was a bit cheesey, and I thought that the creators should have been able to come up with a more creative way of getting the information he gave across to the audience. However, I do not write scripts, so what do I know. But all in all, I liked the film, I think that it was definitely the funniest of them all. Go see it!
Rating: Summary: The Trilogy Review: Being a huge fan of Wes Craven, this movie was beautifully directed as always. Although the script seemed a little dry, and the charactors didn't seem as interesting as they were in the other two, this movie was quite entertaining and just an all around fun film. It seemed that it almost could have been a seperate movie on it's own since it had a completly different feel to it then the other Scream movies. Definetly not as good as the original, but worth watching.
