Summary: Razor Clawed Maniac Murders Teens!!!
Review: I've always love this series of films. Even the sequels, which get progressivley less horror orientated, and more amusing, save for Wes Cravens Final Nightmare, which is a masterpiece.This box set is a must for any real horror fan. The Nightmare Series has become one of the most imitated horror films ever, along with Friday the 13th and Halloween. The films are all restored beatifully, and the colours and contrasts are fantastic. The sound is excellent too. The only drawback is the censorship, and European viewers will notice a couple of missing clips from murder scenes in one or two of the films. Howeverm the cuts ARE slight, and don't ruin the enjoymant of the film. The bonus special features disk is a must. It's amazing, packed full of extras. Theres an intereactive Freddy game, which is very disturbing. As you progress, more extras are revealed to you. I don't think I've even completed it, yet. If you're choosing between the Euro version, or the US version, the US version is the Nightmare set to get. You won't be disappointed, and with any luck, you'll wake up screaming with the sheets soaking...

Summary: The Nightmare on Elm Street Collection on DVD
Review: I remember how I felt when I learned that all 7 films were in a DVD Collection. I already had the VHS collection, now I could see the greatest Horror movie series of all time on DVD in all it's glory. NOES: A Classic. Nancy Thompson and her friends are being stalked by dead Child Killer Freddy Krueger. Great acting(Robert Englund is so cool!), a great, scary script and good directing make this the best Horror film of all time. Freddy, indeed, kicks Jason's butt and is even better than Leatherface and Michael Myers
NOES2: This is what they thought of? This time, Freddy begins to possess the body of Jesse Walsh, who is now living in the old Thompson house. This is terrible. The Cinematography is too dark, the script is stupid, most of the acting isn't very good and they attempt to make Freddy like Jason and Michael. Bad move. If you got a killer that is completley different from all earlier killers, keep him that way. They also broke the rule of Freddy always being in a dream. NOES3: Big, Big improvement. Now, Freddy goes after the rest of the Elm Street children, who are all in a Mental Hospital. A great sequel. The acting is superb, the script is great and fun, Freddy's dialouge is classic, and all of his new abilities are great. The only problem is that it's a bit too fantastical and some of it is quite a bit Far-Fetched. NOES4: Favorite Sequel. Freddy kills off the last 3 Elm Street kids, only to find himself against a new adversary, the innocent, virginal Alice. Awesome movie. Awesome music, great acting, creative killings, likable characters and the fight scene between Freddy and Alice in the Church is a classic scene. Sure, Freddy became funny in this film(Which equals good dialouge and lots of laughs), but Robert Englund holds on to Freddy's edge and keeps him watchable and enjoyable. NOES5: Pretty Darn Good. Freddy begans to use the dreams of Alice's unborn child to get to her friends. Goes back to the creepiness of the first film, but also takes a lot of new chances. Great visual effects, great music, good acting and neat twists make this film a must-see. Freddy is still funny, but he's also pretty creepy. In fact,the first time I saw this film, I was freaked out!! Freddy's Dead: Alright. Freddy uses a group of 4 teens to try to get to his daughter, who told on him to the police after he killed her mother. It's enjoyable and a load of fun, but it's also really lame and cheesy. Overall, it's a pretty good entry. The only really bad entry was Pt.2. New Nightmare: Pretty good movie. Now, Freddy comes out of the Movies to find and kill the people behind the next NOES movie and the only one who can stop him is Heather Langemkamp, the heroine of the first and third film. Very well directed, well written, great acting and duplicating lines and scenes from Pt.1 is a nice touch. The idea of taking Freddy out of the dream world wasn't a good idea, but it's understandable. This way, Wes Craven can guarantee himself that he has the last entry. Overall, this series is very enjoyable and you should enjoy every single film, except for Pt.2(It's the only bad entry)

Summary: How Sweet Fresh Meat!
Review: This collection is the best box set on DVD as of now. I have always loved Freddy and now that all seven classics are together it makes it so much better. Personally part four is my favorite. It has good thrills and funny moments all in one. Many dis part two for many reasons. If you just watch it and just see how much info ths one gave us it would make mor people appreciate it. His past was exposed and made me a bigger fan of the series. Now this set gives you all of the info on the stars and it gives you some light on how Freddy was made up. The eight DVD is a fun gme. There are all kinds of cool interviews and behind the scenes material. I hope you all love this set like I do.

Summary: An Okay Package
Review: Mt parents will never thanks Robert Englund for the sleepless nights he gave me as a young boy when NOES was released in 1984. Although i can watch it now, our favourite villain's subsequent movies left a lot to be desired. The first movie is definitely the classic (in particular the bedroom sequence with Tina & Freddy's extended arms in the alleyway). Later movies really cash in on Freddy-mania & deviate towards black comedy rather than going out to give audiences a good scare - altho Part 3 (with Langenkamp returning again as Nancy) is a forgivable part of these 5 movies. The rest is really candyflosss watching & worthy to have as part of the Freddy saga. Thank heavens parts 6 & 7 were not included here, as otherwise I would have to give only 1 star! Definitely worth investigation if you love the first movie or indeed wish to make this part of your DVD Collection.

Review: The Nightmare on Elm Street saga lives on; In this boxed set edition, on VHS and DVD, with all seven films. The DVD versions of the film are packed with extras such as interviews with the directors of each of the films. All of the VHS versions come with the original movie trailers. This is a must have for all horror fans. It has Freddy at your fingertips any moment to the day. You can see him at his best (slicing and dicing) or at his worst (Death and Rebirth into a new nightmare). Just don't fall asleep. 1,2 Freddy's coming for you......

Summary: All the Nightmares Return
Review: I was young when these movies first hit theaters and they scared the living daylights out of me. The only one that still does is the original Nightmare, where Freddy talks less and theres more suspense. However the sequels each have their share of frightening moments. Freddy's Revenge, in my opinion is the weakest of all, with terrible acting and embarrassing incidents where a parrot goes nuts and becomes a flying fireball, and a high school coach's death by (gasp!) a towel smack!! The Dream Warriors, the third sequel is excellent in my opinion, with better writing and compelling action scenes. Zsa Zsa Gabor is way more scarier than Freddy! That t.v. scene is unforgettable. The Dream Master is an ok sequel, excusing the dog urine that revived Freddy. The death scenes were at their most eccentric; turning a bug-squashing fitness freak into a cockroach and being thrown into a roach motel, and the danger of french kissing. The Dream Child goes back to the darkness of the original, but it still doesnt hold a candle to it. It is creepy nevertheless, what with the unborn baby storyline and all. Freddy's Dead (or so we think, MooooHHAAAAAHHAA) in the sixth film where we meet not only Fred's father, but his daughter. A good background info kinda movie, that contains the usual black comedy/fright moments. The giant Q-tip: what was up with that? The collection includes 3-D glasses for the ending fight sequence, which is pretty good,but like the others, Freddys not dead just taking a nap for another year or two until the next film. Wes Craven's New Nightmare is the best sequel, and it only took a decade to make. Freddy jumps from the screen and into the real world to destroy the people that made him and to terrorize Heather L. who played the tormented Nancy in 1 and 3. Good writing and scarier than the previous five, the film was very well received in the mid 90s, a time where we thought hed never be back at the movies. This collection is worth every penny for all the extras you get. New generations may find it a bit cheesy and dated, but 80s kids like me know they were the best of the genre of that time. I was always fascinated with dreams and the two world/parallel universe thing is the cool part about the series. Definitely a must have.

Review: Excellent set, Obviously Nightmare on Elm Street have been all time favorite horror movies, at the end of each part you will see Freddy's coming back again. We anticipate waiting for every sequel. It is intelligent and amazing action, humor, and mostly the horror, which is my favorite. It is worth buying. Excellent features included. The encyclopedia is full of great stuff for the PC; you will enjoy the games and the fun. Highly recommended. We are waiting for another new sequel, I am sure Freddy will back again, just wait and see!

Review: The Only Ones I would watch are Nightmare 1, 3, 7 and sometimes the fourth one the ones that s.ck are[Nightmares 2,5,and 6 this one just got boring] The Other Ones got a lotta violence/gore language and some drug content to entertain me or yourself or the whole family this collection got a lotta special features too.
