Summary: HALLOWEEN FANS EAT YOUR HEART OUT!
Review: This is the single greatest collection EVER! I have owned these ever since they first came out and have watched them 9 times each, in order. When I first heard about the set on DVD... no every day I watched the DVD news sites just praying to see part 1 let alone all of them! When I first saw the ad I nearly wet my pants. The films look sooooo dam good! All in widescreen! On video I couldn't even get a descent looking copy of part 2 and here is in widescreen Dolby 5.1! They all look brand new. Part 1 could almost pass for a new release. Not to mention the commentary by Craven and cast on part 1. I could only see the commentary if I were willing to pay $120 for the laserdisc on Ebay! The eighth disc kept me busy for a half a day! This set is the crown jewel of my collection of 365 DVD's! It is flawless in every aspect! There is not one blemish in any of the seven films! THANK YOU GOD... I mean Wes Craven.

Summary: A Nightmare on Elm Street 3;Dream Warriors
Review: This movie was awesome. Parts 3 and 5 are my favorite. Freddy Krueger is great and I've seen all of the movies over and over again. I even have parts 1,2, and 3. They're fantastic!

Summary: MUST-SEE FRED TV!
Review: It is an execelent box set. With the added 8th disc it is truley a must-have for any Freddy fan. The retail price is a little steep but worth the price. Thanx to amazon.com it's quite a bit less than the retail price and again I say it is well worth it.

Summary: Get this now!!!
Review: This box set is DEFINITLY a must own for any true Freddy fan. it offers all the movies plus some scenes previously unreleased, all of the music vieos, tons of interviews, and lots of t.v. spots, plus lots more stuff. The 3-D is kinda cool, but it could be better, also you only get one pair of glasses, but it's just the red and blue ones so they aren't that hard to come by. the bonus disc is pretty cool, that's where most of the extra stuff is found, and it is sorta like a game, so it's fun and interactive at the same time. I was hoping part 5 would be the origional uncut one, but it was just the same one that was released in the theater. Any ways I highly recomend this to anyone it is well worth the money, hopfully friday the 13th will do the same thing really soon.

Summary: KRUGER IS BACK WITH A VENGENCE!
Review: Being that I am a raving Nightmare On Elm Street Fan, I bought this VHS set the day it was released. They look and sound great. Kruger is as evil as ever, slashing his way from one film to the next. This was a great box set to make, so do yourself a favor and BUY IT! Freddy Kruger is the God of the slasher film. I love to watch each director develop their own style for old Fred, then I can watch the director commentary after the films end. Now all we need are HALLOWEEN and FRIDAY the 13th boxsets!

Summary: THE ULTIMATE FREDDY......
Review: Last year I purchased the first Nightmare movie on DVD, under the assumption that I could get the others one at a time, only to discover..... Well, since then I've rented all the Freddy DVD's, and have been looking forward to purchasing the box set, which I have done this very day from Amazon. Of all the splatter villains, Fred Krueger's the only one who ever had any class (or humour!) The Nightmare films offer a glimpse into the spirit of the 80's - Kill 'em all, but do it with STYLE.....

And that is just what Freddy Krueger does - kills us all with style - if you've never seen any Nightmare films, you're in for a treat - they'll KILL you with laughter! Sure, you get some very cheesy moments, but all in all you are taken back to a more innocent time, and the DVD versions present it all in 5.1 Dolby Digital sound. If you remember Freddy, or even if you've never seen him before, getting this set is something you won't regret!

Summary: Makes my mouth water.
Review: The sad part about never having money is the fact that I will never own this wonderful set from one of the best horror series ever. Every Nightmare On Elm Street movie is contained here, and believe me, they are worth the cash!

Summary: Very good but could use some improvments
Review: These movies have never sounded or looked better but like everything else it is in need of some improvments. It only comes with 1 pair of 3-D glasses, the 3-D effect dosn't work that well and needs to be watched on a big TV, the double VHS Special edition of nightmare 1 has alot more deleated sceans, the nightmare encylopedia is very cool but it has a tendency to skip (without it being scratch), the cases for the movies are the old style cardboard cases. Other than these things this DVD set is amazing and i strongly recomend it.

Summary: Freddy Is Home!
Review: Freddy is now home. I got the box set for last Christmas and it was one of my best gifts. Part one is great and has the best story line. Part 2 was not that good but not as bad as everyone else says. Part 3 I think starts a good storyline that have sequels that go along with it. Part 4 is my favorite byfar. Freddy starts to get funny, the story is great, and the ending was fantastic. Part 5 is good. Alices kid helps her defeat Freddy in this one. Freddy's Dead was great because it gave you a lot of Freddy's past. New Nightmare was alright. Good story but lacked that Freddy stalking kids feeling.Overall I would buy this colletion if you like true horror films. I would give it 10 stars if I could. I say "JUST BUY IT".

Summary: The Ultimate Nightmares
Review: This is an outstanding DVD collection. I would have to say it's the crown jewel of all my DVD's. I only have two little problems with it. One, the version for Disc 5 is the R-rated one and not the unrated one I've seen before. Not a big problem, but I was kind of confused that the right version wouldn't be included for a set that is supposed to cater to the diehard Nightmare fan. Two, in my Labyrinth portion of the eighth disc, I'm stuck on one particular spot and the damn game won't let me get any farther. There is a door with some fencing in the window and the cursor only goes on small parts of the fencing, without opening the door. So it won't let me get to the second alternate ending to Part 1. Can anyone out there help me out with getting past this? I'd appreciate it. Other than those small complaints, this is a flawless set and it proves once again that New Line is the very best when it comes to releasing DVD's...
