Summary: A beautiful and powerful film
Review: Rolov and Halpern have made a beautiful and powerful film with "When Boys Fly." I had never thought of the world of gay circuit parties as something I would find particularly intriguing, yet this film answered questions I didn't even know I had. A must see!

Summary: Enlightening first-hand perspective on circuit party culture
Review: This film pushes the envelope and gives viewers a full access pass to the circuit party scene. It is enlightening to hear and see and meet the people who are part of this world. The documentary unfolds in a way that does not judge or disparage the main characters; it's a very honest, tragic and sometimes hysterical portrayal of their lives and the thrill or high they aspire to achieve. I highly recommend this film for those who have gone to a circuit party, are curious, or just want to experience something unlike anything they have ever experienced before.

Summary: Great video
Review: This is a great video. I first want to say this is not a movie, which I thought it was when I bought it. Its follows some gay guys as they go to a circuit party in Florida. Its great at showing how some guys live their lives. The best thing I liked about the movie is how it is all "real" and nothing was staged. It also has great video quality, and great editing.

Summary: One Helluva Ride!
Review: What happens when you take a handful of guys, mix them with thousands of well built, extremely attractive men, throw in some glamour drugs, sex and add a pulsating soundtrack? One helluva ride!

In this latest release to dvd, "When Boys Fly", takes you along a journey into the underground world of the circuit party and follows a group of guys ala " MTV's Real World" into this scene of buff bods, heavy duty drugs, and all night partying. It's probably a world many of us have never seen and after watching this I'm really not sure I want to. It's captivating and saddening watching all these gorgeous men party the night away reaching for something most of them will never find. Escaping from their problems and or lives most resort to drugs like ecstacy, "g", and alcohol. And we get to see it all.

Directors Stewart Halpern and Lenid Rolov began the project by posting a website [and]requesting applicants. After receiving thousands of entries they handpicked a select group to be filmed while attending the "White Party" in Miami. And thus the adventure begins....

These are real guys, with real problems and they never hesitate at sharing their thoughts and emotions. The cameras follow these guys from their homes, to Miami, the pool party and into the evening at this infamous world that not everyone has or will experience. But "When Boys Fly" takes you there you really become immersed in the event and I found myself completely drawn in. At times I felt like I wanted to be there and at others sad and sickened by what these guys were doing to themselves. Jeffrey Sanker, a promoter of such events, says at one point, "these guys work hard, and they deserve to play hard". You be the judge. "When Boys Fly" is an excellent, intimate and intriguing look into the world of the underground party circuit.

The dvd runs also includes interviews with Tone and Brandon two years later, audition tapes, over 20 minutes of deleted scenes, interview with director Kevin Weiler, running commentary with the director and Brandon, biographies and four trailers for other TLA releases...

Summary: Flying High With "Boys"
Review: WHEN BOYS FLY is an intriguing and entertaining look into the sub-culture of the Circuit Party scene. The film pulls no punches as it follows various young(and some not-so-young) men as they delve into the fun, the danger, and the debauchery that is all-too prevalent in the annual bacchanal held in Miami Beach. Like most parties, the merriment comes with a price, and in the case of the party-hearty revellers presented here, it is a price they are all-too willing to pay.
