Summary: A great way to add variety to your workouts
Review: I have done this video twice since I ordered it and I must say I was impressed. At first I was disappointed that the video was only 45 minutes long, but it is constant motion throughout that 45 minutes. I was surprised to be a little sore the next day because I have been doing "The Firm" tapes for the last two years and those are tough.

She really emphasizes how to do the moves safely and the people that workout with her in the video look like real fitness enthusiasts.

The abs and back section is very short, but the moves are very different and actually do work those areas. You will definately feel your abs a little the next day.

The leg section at the end was excellent. It's hard to find a good leg workout that doesn't risk injury to the knees. These are really safe and target areas that are hard to workout.

I only gave it four stars because there isn't a lot of upper body stuff. You will definately have to use other tapes on alternate days to compliment this workout.

This is a great video to add variety to your workouts.

Summary: You Will Sweat!
Review: This fitness video is fantastic. I also have the Tae Bo collection and Denise Austin's kickboxing video, and Kathy Smith's video is my video of choice. Unlike Tae Bo, she actually takes you through a warmup and shows you how to properly do the kicks and punches. The leg and buns segment near the end is great too. I have been doing this for a while and believe me, you WILL sweat, and your body will feel like it has gotten a great workout. I highly recommend this video.

Summary: Fun and motivating!
Review: My sister recommended this tape, which I bought yesterday. I pre-viewed last night and had a blast working out to it today. I enjoyed it much more than the Tae-Bo tapes. This really makes you sweat. Once you master the moves and the combo sequences, you will sweat and have fun while doing it! Kathy Smith is a fun instructor.

Summary: You must try it!
Review: I love this video! I decided to purchase it after reading the postive customer comments. I never did kickboxing before, and found I was able to master the moves after the second time I used it. The tape is fun and energizing. I actually look forward to doing the workout. Kathy is an excellent instructor. Especially helpful are the hints sprinkled throughout the workout to make sure you use correct form, etc. If you are a beginner who would like to try kickboxing, this is an excellent first tape to purchase.

Summary: Fabulous Workout
Review: Kathy Smith does a great job breaking down the punches and kicks and really teaching the proper form. This workout does not take up too much space in the living room and will make you sweat every time. I love it!

Summary: Kathy is an INSTRUCTOR first
Review: As a former nationally certified fitness instructor and wellness professional, I was pleased to see that Kathy puts instruction and safety first over jumping and jerking around to music that is way too fast as Billy Blanks does. I can tell that Kathy is trained in aerobics instruction and is not just a top athlete who decided to make money by making exercise videos. You WILL get in shape with this workout!

Summary: Fun for All Types
Review: I don't like to go to the gym to exercise, so it was great to find a fun workout that I can do easily at home. The techno music goes well with kickboxing and makes watching the DVD seem more like being in a video game. I'm a beginner and not that into workout tapes, but I've had a lot of fun with this one. The DVD features are not too exciting, but the sound and video quality is excellent.

Summary: great workout!
Review: i purchased this tape last night and reviewed it first then did the workout this morning. this tape shows good correct techniques and posture, which other tapes lack. you can do this tape as a beginner and be slow and moderate or you can do it like me (a regular fitness gal) and do the moves with more stamina and endurance, balance and coordination w/o hurting yourself. the one thing i liked alot was they would do a move and show Kieth Cooke on the side showing correct posture and correct stance. it is upbeat, fun, good workout music and the moves are not hard to follow at all. after 15 minutes, i was sweating like crazy. good good workout people. try it. it's not boring or slow or annoying for that matter.

Summary: A good addition to your workout collection
Review: This video definitely makes me sweat, and the music is fun - a nice change from some of Kathy's other videos. It gets repetetive pretty quickly, though, so I would not recommend it as the only workout tape. Even though there are two pros with Kathy, the video focuses mostly on her, which is a shame, since there is more to be learned form-wise from the other two.

Summary: Fun and TOUGH workout
Review: I have never done kickboxing before, but I had no problem following the instruction on this tape to a solid cardio and all-over body workout. I get bored very easily, but I was having such a good time during this workout that I didn't even notice the time.
