Summary: What is in this video.
Review: Description of video by Producer. Zookinesis is an ancient Chinese system of mild exercise designed to bring youthful vitality back to the body. This DVD provides exercises from a seated position, specifically designed for seniors. It works on all parts of the body, restoring muscle tone and strength, joint strength and flexibility as well as improved breathing and concentration.
These exercises also keep the connective tissue flexible so it doesn't shrink and constrict the body's organs. Connective tissue surrounds all the organs and bones, forming a springy network to keep the body young. As you age, the shrinking of this tissue can hinder the function of those organs, unless you do an exercise like Zookinesis.
Zookinesis is related to Tai-chi, Chi-Gung and Chinese Yoga. You can do the entire session or just fifteen minutes at a time. The DVD is 45 minutes.
