Summary: You cannot miss!
Review: All I can say is, after purchasing quite a lot of her videos, try it and you cannot go wrong. All her tapes are great -- simple moves, nothing hard to do, happy people, great personalities, with great results! She is the Diva of Walk Aerobics - no one is better, or probably, more bubblier or nicer! I use a different tape each day, so it's best to purchase a few and enjoy!

Summary: Avoid!
Review: I DEFINITELY agree with the other reviews. I am a big fan of Leslie Sansone's Walk Away the Pound series - even though I've been exercising regularly since I was a teenager, I mostly run or use machines and find most workout videos to be too complicated to be able to follow. I exercise for my health but I am just not athletically gifted and am definitely have "two left feet." ANyhoo, these videos have to be from, oh, the late 1980s as others have mentioned and Leslie seems to hae just discovered her "walk" system. The workout still incorporates old style high impact aerobics steps and the pace is so frenetic that there is definitely no toning benefit. Definitely avoid this one!

Summary: Grainy!!! but good
Review: I enjoy Leslie Sansone.. She has helped me( an overweight exerciser) begin to workout again. I purchased this video some time ago and I had not used it. On New Years Day I got up and I put my 3-mile power walk(all time favorite) on then I decided I would try this video. I managed to do this and her 1mile from her walk away the pounds collection Making it a total of a 8 mile walk in 2 hours. I am using Leslie to work up to the firm..
This video is cheesy and grainy but if you don't want "high-impact" and you just want to work out, then this is good. Leslie talks all through it too,but I don't mind. I have a health goal and she is helping me reach it.

Summary: Great workout video
Review: I have been using this video for several months and have lost a significant amount of weight (approximately 50 pounds). The video is easy to follow. It is great to have it broken up to smaller sections so you can work up to the full video at your own pace. It is very helpful to have the different levels of intensity in different sections of the tape.

Summary: Don't Waste Your Money or Time
Review: I have Leslie's 2-mile and 3-mile Walks Away the Pounds DVDs. She uses the blue weighted balls. These are excellent workouts. I was extremely disappointed with her new one. First, it has a very 1980's "aerobics" feel to it. Leslie works out in a studio "home." She does NOT use weights. The music sounds like elevator variety and the "work out" is very light. Leslie employs old aerobics moves instead of her marching steps from the 2-mile and 3-mile walk. Also, she doesn't work out with the old gang from her studio that I enjoyed watching. Some the workouts are alone, and others are with a few other new people. I think Leslie should stick with the other format...that's what I was expecting. If you were expecting the same, then pass this one by. If you like cheesy, light workouts 1980s style...you can have mine.

Summary: A Good Exercise Video
Review: I like several of Leslie Sansone's walking workout videos. From best to worst, here's how I rank the 5 I own:

2-MILE WALK -- 5 STARS. Her best video. Good pace, lots of variety. Not too hard for a beginner. It has a mileage gauge, which helps keep me going. (1996)

MIRACLE MILE -- 4½ STARS. A 1-mile walking workout in 15 minutes, plus a cool down and stretches. Great for those days when I haven't much time but I want to get some quick exercise in. Also good on days of cramps, if tired, etc. (1996)

WEIGHT LOSS WALK -- 3½ STARS. Has 3 20-minute segments of 1 mile, 1.5 miles, and 1.5 miles. Excellent for variety. Handy for those days when I want a different distance. Segments can be done alone or combined for a wide variety of distances -- up to 4 mies. A mix of familiar movements and different exercises, some of them a little goofy, some of them fun. I don't like the silent gaps between songs, but I recommend this exercise video. (1993)

Not recommended:
PLUS 40 WORKOUT -- 2 STARS. A 2-mile workout, not nearly as good as "2-MileWalk". Seems somewhat amateurish. Has silent gaps between songs. (1989)

WALK & FIRM -- 2 STARS. Leslie with hand weights doing safe and simple exercises. Unfortunately, I really can't get into it, and I've never finished the video. (1998)

Leslie's videos are hard enough but not too hard for people just getting back into exercise. When I use them daily (especially mornings) I find I'm much less hungry all day. I've lost 9 pounds in 3 weeks. I try to exercise daily but usually do so 4-6 times a week. I feel better, sleep better, and have better posture.

Summary: Non-Impact & it works!
Review: I lost 14 lbs using this video and a portion control weight management program. It's no frills and no impact but yields results. Leslie's upbeat personality is motivating and easy to take. I wore out the first tape and purchased a second one. I work out at 4 a.m. so I don't want to go outdoors and can't use noisy exercise equipment. This video and TV headphones are all I need to get my workout in!

Summary: This is NOT one of my favorites--3 stars is a stretch!
Review: I love Leslie Sansone--she is the reason I am motivated to lose weight. I got off the couch and started exercising with her 2 MILE workout--was doing it twice a day, and slimming down like mad. I moved my way up to 3 miles twice a day and the 3 mile deserves 5 stars--just excellent!! I purchased the 4 mile Weight Loss Walk and was VERY disappointed, I wonder if this was made prior to making the 3 mile workout tape. I shelved this one and bought the 4 mile POWER WALK which would have been 5 stars if it had NOT been for Florine Mark (a total bore). Try the 4 mile POWER WALK instead!!

Summary: Buy a different one!
Review: I loved the 1 mile, I loved the 2 mile, I loved the 3 mile... I hated this. Well, I need to qualify that: I hated the 6-7 minutes I had this playing, until I had had enoughand took it out of the DVD player. First, she is alone, at least in the beginning (do more people join her in her living room set later?), which is weird. Then, as mentioned below, she directs you according to the leg she is using, which will throw you off completely--you have to either follow what she says or ignore that and mirror her. She is sort of hopping (literally) around, even in the first 6-7 minutes, which I didn't like--it's *walk* aerobics.

I love Leslie's other stuff and suggest that you just find a different one of hers and avoid this one.
