Summary: Please Stop The Bad Behavior
Review: Too much! Too much for an old girl, anyway. I could have gone to the local gym with the 20 year olds if I wanted to jump all over the place! I think either this video is dated or I am - - outdated.

Summary: LOVE THIS VIDEO!!!
Review: This video is sooooo much fun! Finally, a dance video that IS actually dance-oriented but also makes you sweat! Please don't give up on this....I also felt really frustrated at first, and I would stop the tape every now and then(I have miminal dance experience). However, after about three or four days of doing the tape, I had gotten the steps down, and now I'm adding my own flavor and feeling like a real dancer! And it is soooo much fun, Paula and her group are encouraging and sweet, and even though I have done it a ton of times, I always have a blast and look forward to doing it. Plus, it is a GREAT workout...I am soaked in sweat by the end of it. For those who complained that it didn't really target the abs, etc....this is a cardio video, not a toning one! My only complaint is that while the music and dance moves are fun, they are a little outdated. This is a fun video though...buy it!

Summary: Don't waste your time
Review: I completely agree with everyone's frustrations about this video! For one thing, maybe you do get a good workout after you've watched the video 100 times or so, but until then, it's not really that beneficial--unless you consider any type of movement exercise. Plus, she doesn't spend any time targeting certain areas (abs, arms, thighs, etc), which I've really liked about past workout videos. Even if you aren't that concerned about losing weight or toning, you just want to learn to dance, this video was made in 1995. Let's just say that Paula needs to update her moves somewhat--I felt like I needed to be wearing M.C. Hammer pants or listening to Vanilla Ice. Finally, I agree with the comments that the constant focusing on her head and the hot 80's dance party camera angles made this too confusing. Please save your money for another workout video.

Summary: Don't give up!!!
Review: The steps seem a little tricky at first but if you give it enough time you'll be surprised that it's not nearly as difficult as it looks. I have minimal dance experience and was able to pick up the moves so if I can do it anybody can do it. I think too many people (based on the reviews I've read) give up too soon. After you get the routine down - it's so much fun and you feel so energized!!! So what if the moves are a little out-dated -- who cares??

Summary: Great & Fun Workout Video
Review: I enjoy any type of dance exercise and that's why I enjoy this workout video. It was a challenge to learn and follow the steps at the beginning; however, over time, I learned and mastered the entire choreography. This video will make you sweat.

Summary: the last Paula Abdul tape I'll ever get
Review: If you are a dancer/choreographer or with years and years experience with dancing, then this is the tape for you. But if you simply want a good aerobic workout, then believe me, you won't get it. Five to ten minutes into the video, you cannot follow anymore. I gave it a few more minutes, the more I got confused. The steps and choreography make it so difficult to have a real workout that you simply get frustrated since you cannot complete one sequence. Please, please, borrow from anyone before you buy your own and you'll see what I mean.

Summary: Challenging for me but FUN!
Review: The moves were a bit challenging as far as learning the steps, but it made for an enjoyable work-out. I had to rewind a few times to get it so I'd love it in DVD! Good choice for fun and exercize!

Summary: This Video is FUN!
Review: It may take a few tries, but this is a fun to do video if you like to dance. Everyone on it is having fun, too, which is inspiring. I really love to do this workout, or rather, dance routine!

Summary: Whew
Review: Proof that ability doesn't equate with teaching ability, Paula Abdul doesn't take the time to break some of the trickier steps down, and counting isn't the same as explaining. Camera work doesn't help. The first time I tried this, I ended up changing tapes in the middle to finish my workout because I was getting too frustrated and my heart rate was going up and down with the stop-and-start required. I might return to the tape later to try and learn the routine in increments.
The steps also were kind of hard on these old knees.

Summary: Just Stick With It
Review: I have read several reviews from people saying that it is too hard to learn the steps in the video. I loved the video from the first time I watched it. It did take a while to master the steps, but that is what a rewind button is for! You do have to be committed to learning or you will never get it. I tried inviting friends over to learn it with me but 3 or 4 of them bailed out before it over the first time they tried it.

I couldn't believe the review that said you do not get a good cardio workout. Come on! If you are doing the steps correctly you will definitely get your heart rate up! I can't wait to try the next video. Also, I do not have much dance experience except for drill team so if I can do it, so can you! Keep trying. Stick with it and you'll be glad you did.
