Summary: Good content, poor quality
Review: I'm not sure if it's just my copy of the DVD, but the video quality is rather poor. Slightly out of focus in general and extremely blurry in many areas. But since I don't really look at the screen as I follow along with my practise, it only really bothered me the first time I watched it all the way through. Content-wise, it's really excellent and I found it very easy to follow with clear explanations at every step.

Summary: Great for release and relaxation
Review: Outstanding guded relaxation and breathing for stress release. With a home BP monitor my blood pressure can be reduced from 20 to 40 points after using this DVD. I start at the Relaxation Pose (prone position) and continue on to all of the breathing exercises for a great 40 minutes of relaxation. I know nothing of Yoga and there are no cross legged positions in this, though Rodney Yee does use them, they are not a part of the routines. The person who said there are no sub menus must be referring to the VHS tape (which I have) because the DVD has an excellent series of menus and sub menus and you can start exactly where you want. Have no difficulty with focus as another reviewer does, besides, once you've run through the DVD once for a visual, you have your eyes closed all the time anyway.

Summary: Very relaxing...
Review: This is a great DVD if you're looking for deep relaxation and some breathwork. Rodney Yee has a soothing voice, is very knowledgeable, and provides good imagery to help you get in touch with your breath. The DVD is broken into 2 segments, one with relaxing yoga poses and one with breathwork, which is nice if you don't have a ton of time to practice or want to work specifically on one or the other.

Summary: Yes, nice content, but improvements needed
Review: This is a wonderful practice. Either am or pm meditation. Starts out with a brief introduction, then a bit of yoga, and a lovely meditation practice. The drawback is that there are no submenus designating different start points, so you have to fast forward to bypass the spoken introduction and/or the yoga. Beautful scenery, but you really don't notice it unless you peek ;o) At the end of Rodney's am practice they show a closeup of his face and have you open your eyes. It would be much nicer to see a beautiful sunrise during the time when your eyes are open. Other then those slight flaws, the content is very good as the other person said. This is a good DVD to get you going if you have never tried meditation, or to add to your dvd collection.

Summary: Exceptional meditation practice
Review: This is a wonderful practice. You have your choice of three different relaxation techniques and three different breathing practices. You can do individually or mix them. I had previously said there were no submenus on this DVD (I was referring to a different Yee DVD). This one is lovely. The menu choices are exceptional! Other people producing DVDs could learn from this example. This is well worth the money and you can use this practice over and over again to gain insight into your own being. Enjoy!
