Rating: Summary: I like it! Review: I am rewriting my review - the more I do this tape, the more I like it! It's a good workout and fun to do. The salsa segment gets the heartrate up and it's fun to do. The yoga segment isn't the type of yoga I like best, but it's not a bad workout at all. The last two segments are fun and relaxing. The stretching is great and the abs workout, although not too challenging, can only help in the long run. I say - get this tape - it's worthwhile and kind of fun!
Rating: Summary: great cardio, loved the salsa!!! loved the whole video Review: the cardio workout from the salsa dance routine was perfect for my laboring body, i loved leisa hart's style and loved this entire video...i thought the moves were simple, totally simple to learn, and any worries about it being repetitive are null; its a workout for us pregnant girls who have short term memory issues! :-) i hope to achieve the same results so many others have expressed, i totally love my Fitmama.
Rating: Summary: THE BEST PRENATAL VIDEO!!! Review: I don't normally exercise, but decided I would like to start a work out program during pregnancy to help with labor and delivery. I really love this Fit Mama video! When I do the work-out portions of the video(salsa cardio, yoga toning), I feel like I am getting an incredible work-out. I have tow left feet, and learned these dance moves very easily. The same moves are taught a few times to ease the difficulity since we moms-to-be don't need to overdo it. I also really like that the work-out portions of the video are split into two portions, and more experienced exercisers can do both. And, the host Leisa Hart is excellent. For someone that didn't work out on a regular basis I find this video easy to follow and easy to "stick with" I would definitely recommend to other expecting moms, and I will definitely be purchasing the post natal workout after my baby is born. I LOVE FITMAMA, and found the salsa very easy to learn and loved the way Leisa devised these incredibly fun and useful prenatal exercises....THANKS LEISA, YOU'RE A DOLL!!!
Rating: Summary: Salsa Dance? Review: Yes, Salsa Dance is the first 1/2 of this prenatal workout video. Now, I am all for being fit, but, if you do not do much dancing prior to this, I found it a little difficult to pick it up with my belly already throwing my normal moves off. I wish I had known this was such a big part of the workout, as I was disappointed after purchase. The rest of the video shows some yoga and floor exercises that are pretty helpful. Overall, I wasn't all that pleased.
Rating: Summary: the same moves over and over and over and over......... Review: I thought this video was pretty boring. The moves are so repetitive! I did the same things every few minutes. I liked the personality of the instructor, the cuing, but I can not bring myself to pop this one in because I can't stand to do the same moves over and over again for 30-40 minutes.
Rating: Summary: This is a GREAT video to work out to! Review: I've worked out with two other prenatal videos and this is by far my favorite. Leisa utilizes a combination of salsa and power yoga to increase your heart rate and prepare those target areas for labor and delivery. I am currently 7 months pregnant and still find it a fun workout. I have other prenatal workout/ yoga videos, but Leisa's personality and hip moves makes this workout fun. Plus, it is motivating to workout with someone who is in her 3rd trimester and still able to keep fit.
Rating: Summary: Great video Review: When I popped this video in, I halfway expected to be disappointed by something I wouldn't be able to enjoy through my entire pregnancy or by an annoying instructor. This was by far NOT the case. Leisa Hart is fun through the entire workout. It's more like having a girlfriend in your living room than a skinny, snotty instructor bouncing all over the place. Afterwards, I felt energized and healthy. Because the moves are broken down slowly and there are special adjustments for all three trimesters most women will be able to enjoy this workout throughout their entire pregnancy. My only qualm is that it is 55 minute workout, a little long if you already have small children.
Rating: Summary: Marathon mom loves Leisa's prenatal workout!!! Review: I LOVE THIS VIDEO!!! I'm nearly 4 and a half months pregnant, and my Mid-wife recently suggested that I do low-impact exercise only because my baby is much bigger now. I've been a runner since I was 10 years old (I'm now 32), and I ran my first marathon this year, the HP Houston Marathon, when I was 3 months pregnant...SOOOOoo I was beside myself trying to figure out what I could do that would truly be exciting yet challenging enough to keep my body in shape and my baby & I healthy. I still don't look pregnant. I just look like I've eaten a big Thankgiving meal at grandma's. Anyways, I searched the web and found Leisa's video. It's perfect! I go out for a good power walk (~30 minutes), then come inside and do all of Leisa's video (~1 hour). But, because the video has two 20 minute cardo sections, I'm able to shorten my workout if I'm too tired that day. She's soOOOooo positive and makes you feel like you're a sexy goddess! Her variations on the yoga moves make me feel like I'll be able to do this workout up to my delivery day. My husband, who's a big macho man, danced along with me today during the salsa part of this video. I LOVED IT! This motivating video would be a perfect addition to a power walking plan. I know I'm gonna "snap-back" into shape after delivery and stay healthy with Leisa's help! I can't wait to do her post-natal video! This video is a must have!!! I feel positive and full of giggles when I do this video! It was worth the money!
Rating: Summary: Great Buy! Review: I really liked this video. She gives you different levels to work at and all the girls actually have bellies too. A must have!
Rating: Summary: Much better than every ppregnancy video i've tried Review: I am on pregnancy number 3 and have tried over 15 pregnancy videos to exercise at home, and FITMAMA is without a doubt the best one. It is easy to nick pick and slam any video, which I will not do, but FitMama Prenatal is simply very very good, I liked all of the segments and do it daily.
