Summary: I hv bought the exact 2 tapes for my 2 homes.
Review: Ok, I must say this is not the best fitness video in the world but it has some really good parts so I hv always come back to it. I hv actually bought 2 tapes in 9 years, one for my home in UK, one for my home in Hong Kong, to make sure I will do some exercises even on holiday!

Personally I always skip the stomach exercises 'coz they are really agony(and hard to do), I guess that's why it's called "the next challenge". However, I don't have Cindy Crawford's 1st tape so I cannot compare.

I especially find the arms and chest exercises very useful, I have more than 10 fitness tape at home and this has by far the best arms and chest workout. The legs(cardio) exercises are great if you are very fit, but if you have not exercised for a long time I suggest you do them very slowly 'coz they really get your heart pumping. I am not into really fast cardio exercises so I have to stop for abt 5 mins (instead of 1 minute rest time)before going into the next stage.

The best thing about this video is that Cindy Crawford is really working out with you! Cindy Crawford has bigger bum and thighs compare to a lot of models, it gives me such motivation when realising not everyone is born slim, even a supermodel like Cindy Crawford has to work out. I also owned the tape by Claudia Schiffer and Elle Macpherson: Claudia Schiffer didn't sweat at all in her tape, and her voice is so soft and flat and lack of motivation, whereas Elle Machperson didn't do half of the exercises, the difficult parts are all done by her personal trainer.

Cindy Crawford - please give us another new tape!

Summary: stands the test of time!
Review: i've been into fitness for almost 10 years, and i STILL come back to this tape when I want a challenging workout- if nothing else, this tape is worth buying for the first 20 minutes alone (legs and cardio). it's a fun tape and those lunges/squats/kicks REALLY do the trick! also cindy crawford is a good workout partner without getting annoying after the hundreth time you've watched...

Summary: Wow...
Review: I really enjoyed this video! I've done several other workouts with.. Denise Austin, Tamilee Webb, Tony Little, and Donna Richardson. Sorry to say, but Denise Austin's "Smile! You're gonna look sexy!" can get a bit annoying. You're trying to tone your body. You don't need someone telling you you'll look good every five minutes. It's ok the first couple of times, but after the 3rd week you do the video.. uhh.. Tamilee Webb's music can get boring and after doing Buns of Steel 3, I felt like my legs were going to fall off. I would be standing still and my legs would be trembling. I know you're supposed to feel sore to a certain point but that just HURT! It's impossible to go up the 3 flights of stairs of my high school after doing that! Hearing Tony Little say, "You can do it! And if you can't, we ALL can tell!".. OK! You're trying to look better here! and for him to tell you that.... errr... It kinda kills your trip doesn't it? It didn't make me want to keep going. I was just like.. he said what? Just stop the video and look for another one. Stop it right now. I like how Donna Richardson works out arms but I'm not too fond of her aerobics. So yes, I guess you can say I'm picky. :) So yes, I REALLY liked this Cindy Crawford video because it works out your whole body and you can't get bored. The music.. ah yes.. I wish I could own the CD or something. :) I used to play basketball but I don't anymore because of a back injury. Cindy's video lets you adjust especially if you have a back problem. That is one of the reasons why I love it and do it everyday conscientiously. She seems like a very down to earth person and doesn't get annoying. And she sure won't tell you that you'll look bad if you don't work out - "WE ALL CAN TELL!". I recommend it to anyone, even to beginners as long as they take their time during the first couple of days. They will definately feel it. :)

Summary: very challenging, but not annoying in your face workout
Review: I'm not a big video tape excerciser, but I have tried a bunch. This is, by far, my absolute favorite for the following reasons. 1)Cindy is a real person working out with you. She gets a bit winded in parts, she tells you to "take advantage of these breaks, guys" and she basically is an empathetic friendly presence. She does a good job at reminding you about form as well. 2) It's really hard! I love the fact that this video is very challenging. The great thing is that I've done it for years now and I can add reps when I'm in the mood while she is explaining the next move. Every time I do this video (I only do it once maybe twice a week when I don't feel like going to the gym and sometimes I don't do it for a few months) I am sore the next day. 3) You can tailor this video to fit your needs. Don't like high impact? March instead. Don't want to do a full sit-up? Do crunches. Worried about knee strain on the lunges? Hold onto a chair and just do squats. Or, add a few more reps. I don't find that it's too fast at all. There is also a glossary at the end of the tape that shows proper form. I will say that I don't ever do the Trunk Circles because all they do is make me dizzy and there doesn't seem to be any benefit by doing them. I fast forward through this one. 3) It's got great music. Subtle, not overpowering and not that annoying dance music with the same beat over and over and over... This video definitely keeps my interest and I recommend it to anyone who brings up workout videos. I have also tried Cindy's first video and found it to be quite laughable and although it had good intentions, it falls short on the workout part. Who works out in thier bathing suit anyway??? In short, this is a great video for someone who wants a challenging workout but doesn't want to be bombarded by annoying music and overly happy "feel-the-burn" aerobics instructor type people.

Summary: good toning video
Review: Well cindy did much better than her other video. This is a very good video for toning and the legs section really get your heart pumping and your legs working. Also i think the music is pretty good too. I like how she works on every part of your body. This is great for even a beginner. Except when she tells you to use three to five pound weights only use this if you are a beginner. I started out with three pounds when i first got this tape and now i use ten pounds and i still get a burn from the excesises. It is also good that radu her insturctor talks much less in this tape than the first one and we can all apreciate that! This is a wonderful toning tape.

Summary: BUY THIS NOW -- and please bring it back on VHS
Review: This is -- simply put -- the best thought out and best looking exercise video I have ever used. One I come back to again and again and that gets better. I can't believe it is out of print!

Summary: My all time favourite workout
Review: This is an hour long circuit workout that mixes a little kickboxing, a little yoga, high rep weight work and one of the best lower body toning routines on one tape, ever. This is Cindy's second offering and she is much more confident. Her form is good and it's a glossary is included showing you how to perform some of the more difficult exercises, safely and how to modify if your range of motion is limited. The lower body work is comprised of kickbox moves, lunges, sumo squats, regular squats and some cool non-traditional moves. I guarantee you will feel this in your hamstrings, glutes and quads. The Abs work is traditional but very effective. It's split into two sections with toning work sandwiched in the middle. You'll need a set of 3-5lb weights for the toning section. You'll work your chest, biceps, triceps, shoulders, lats and back using the high rep low weight method. It's easy enough to slow it down and increase your weight and Cindy gives good form pointers here. Next is the yoga flavoured back strengthening work followed by more abs and a fabulous stretch. Each section ends with a 30 second + break for rest and water. You'll see Cindy taking these and it's clear that she's done the workout all the way through.

This is my favourite ever workout tape. It's not easy to do and it's a workout that, as Cindy says, you can grow with. I've owned this tape since it came out and have always been satisfied with it. Although it's hard work, I always feel energised and ready to do it all the way through again after completing this workout. Cindy is refreshingly genuine and not at all intimidating. I have all three of her tapes and this is the one that stands head and shoulders above the rest. Brilliant, strengthening, very good for improving your stamina and when it comes to body toning, this is the BEST.

I wish this was available on DVD!

Summary: Wonderful workout! It will "pump you up!"
Review: I got this video a few years ago, and enjoyed it at the time. Unfortunately, I wasn't in the right mindset to really concentrate on losing weight at the time, so I quit working out for a couple of years.
About three weeks ago, I became serious about being healthy again: I got tired of coming home and not having enough energy to enjoy playing with my seven-month old daughter. So I started eating much healthier foods and exercising daily.
I started with Cindy's New Dimension workout to ease me back into a routine. After about a week, I started alternating that tape with Cindy's Shape Your Body. About a week ago, I felt brave enough to try this video again. Boy, it knocked me for a loop! Although I'd just gotten past the sore muscles from starting exercising, this made me sore in different places- and in a good way.
I know I'm nowhere near my goal: 5 pounds down, 35 to go. But I already feel firmer, and I have infinitely more energy than I did three weeks ago. The music is great in this video, and Cindy occasionally grumbles about being told to kick higher- much like I do when I hear Radu telling me to aim higher or push harder. There's something about hearing a supermodel grumble the same way I do that's oddly refreshing.
The cardio section of this tape is very intense, at least for me. But every time I think I can't go any further, it's break time, so I catch my breath, drink some much-needed water, and I'm able to continue.
After using Cindy's two other tapes, it's kind of weird not having any repetition of the sets, but it's nice as well- this provides for a much more well-rounded workout than repetition does. This keeps the muscles from operating on "auto-pilot."
This is a great workout, but please be aware that it's NOT beginner: I'm relatively new to it, but this was not the first workout tape I did my first day working out. It may only take a couple of weeks, but you do need to build up to it. I suggest buying Cindy's New Dimension workout with this video. Although New Dimension is intended for new moms, it is also well suited for the former couch potato (like me!) who wants to get back into shape. Then ease your way into this tape. It's money well spent!

Summary: Loose weight fast!
Review: I tried lots of diffrent video workouts, but nothing worked like this one. Within 2 months I lost 30 pounds working out with Cindy 5 days a week.
Once when I was working out, my male friend, who thought he was in good shape, came to visit me. He laughed at me, because he did not belive in "those" videos. I convinced him to try. 2 days later, he called and said he couldn't move. He loved it!

Summary: More than I expected
Review: Being a newbie at personal fitness, I decided the best route was to start with a video. I got this one and boy, did Cindy whip my butt! The first part is stretching and then goes into lower body/cardio. I fit this in when I can (college wreaks havoc on fitness schedules) and it took me over 4 months to be able to complete the whole session!(AKA-it's challenging!) Cindy leads you thru countless lunges and squats but varies this with kickboxing moves, running in place and plies. The second part is toning. Abs/chest workout requires wieghts, as does the arm section. Abs and back are worked and a good cooldown follows. Cindy isn't too chatty and explains things well with reminders of posture just when I'm committing that very "posture sin." Well made with lots of variety and neat music. They also suggest modifications for those with problems like balance and back problems. It's not boring and is a great investment, no matter what the price!
