Review: This TV/DVD combo is perfect for any samll space. I put it in my boy's room and he just loves it. Remote and DVD are very simple to use. In fact my 4 year old can operate the set. Great looking picture to boot. If you decide to purchase, I am sure you will be very pleased.

I called up Apex's customer service line to see why they did not have a PDF of the manual for this unit available for download on their site. I got the obligatory Indian lady who told me she did not know why there wasn't one, but that I could buy one from them for $10! PLUS $5 for "shipping and handling"! That's $15. I only paid $99 for the whole unit with free shipping! I laughed and told them what they could do with their replacement manual.

Get your act together, APEX. Other than that...

What a cool little piece of gear. Does everything it promises. Have had mostly very good experiences with Apex and this is no exception. There is, however, one tiny thing about the DVD player part that kept me from giving it 4 or 5 stars. It seems to be pretty slow and sluggish - like it's trying really hard to figure out what I want sometimes - but most of the time it reads like a charm and for $99, what can you expect? (I got mine for $99 bucks brand new off amazon with free shipping, wonder why price has gone up).
