Summary: Gentle Visuals and Relaxing Music
Review: We have watched this video 100's of times. It is a great video for younger viewers as it is easy to follow. Classical music accompanies colorful images of toys and other objects.

This video was a favorite with my daughter and she usually fell asleep while watching. It was also good for calming her down when she was more hyper.

The only downfall I have seen is that kids may want some of the enchanting objects seen in the video.

Although the "Mozart Effect" was debunked, the calm melodies do work well for quieting kids down and getting them to relax.

Summary: Was not interested
Review: I rented this for our son and thankfuly did not buy it as our son was not interested in either the music nor the video for very long at all. He is ten months and listens to classical music regularly, but the sound from this video is quite a bit more shallow as it is electronic and not orchestral. He did find some of the imagery intersting for a short bit, but not a success for us.

Summary: A LIFESAVER!
Review: Received this as a gift. Didn't use it for a couple of weeks because I thought our colicky baby was too young for videos (he was 7 weeks). One day, I had tried everything to end his colicky crying, and in desperation popped it in the VCR - it worked in an instant! I could hardly believe it. I now play it for him daily. I love the fact that it stimulates his development, and I can use this for years to come. One of the BEST gifts we received!!

Summary: Does the job!
Review: This video does exactly what a good children's video should do: it holds the interest of the child who is watching it, not just for five or ten minutes, but for the duration. I started my first child on this video when he was about 9 months. It was a godsend. I love spending time with my boy but let's face it, there are times when you just have to have 10 minutes or so to yourself so that you can wash the dishes or do laundry; that's when you pop this video in. It's 25 minutes of entertainment that holds the attention of even very young children. My wife and I have several of the Baby Einstein videos, but I think Baby Mozart is the one you should start off with when your child is very young (Baby Beethoven is good too) since it is just music, no dialogue. Move up later to Baby Shakespeare (poetry) and Baby Einstein (languages). Baby Van Gogh (colors) is also very good. By age two you'll be graduating to Veggie Tales (but that's for another review).

Summary: Kids love these videos!
Review: I have to agree with the rest of the reviewers, my 16-month old son and 9 month old niece just love these videos! As soon as my son hears the first notes of music he knows what I've put on and he cannot get into the room fast enough. Even my 3 year old daughter still enjoys watching the videos. If my son is being fussy or a little too rambunctious I can put this video on and he will immediately be calmed down. It's also good if you need to have your kids out from under your feet to do a small chore such as mopping the floor.

I agree with another reviewer that Baby Bach is just not as good as Baby Mozart. Baby Bach doesn't nearly hold his attention the way Baby Mozart does. However, my son does love Baby Shakespeare! He will easily sit and watch that one all the way through and there are some moments that always make him laugh.

If you are a new or expectant Mom, do yourself a favor and buy Baby Mozart and Baby Shakespeare, you WILL NOT REGRET IT!!!

Summary: My Child's Second Favorite!
Review: I am so happy to have "Baby Mozart", but my thirteen-month-old seems to get bored with it quickly now that we have "Let's Talk Puppy Dog All About Shapes." This video encourages children to be active participants, making the different shapes with their hands. My son loooooves doing this, and now knows all of the shapes and how to make them with his hands. "Baby Mozart" was good in the beginning, but now it's all "Puppy Dog." I only mention this because I hate to see parents with children over one-years-old buy "Baby Mozart" since the charm seems to wear off at this age.

Summary: Worth more than gold!
Review: This video is worth more than gold! This is a must for any parent. My son started watching at 2 months and still loves it today (16 months). If he is fussy or in a bad mood, pop this in and 30 minutes later you have a different child. I give this to everyone who I know who is having a baby. Dont know what we would have done without it.

Summary: Best shower gift ever
Review: My son was mesmerized by it at 1 month old. He's 3 1/2 years now and when he comes across it in the video drawer, he still grabs it and wants to watch it.

He was a high maintenance baby and this video always calmed him down and gave me a bit of peace and quiet...all that and educational too. This and Baby Santa are the best in the series.

Summary: Worth it!!!
Review: Baby Mozart is truly great! We started my son watching it at 2 mos, and at 10 months he will still sit for the 30 minutes or so completely occupied. I run an in-home day care, and the other children all love this too...even the 5 year old! We've tried others in the Baby Einstein line, and have come to the conclusion that Baby Mozart is the best of the lot. The other videos tend to cut back and forth more, which doesn't hold the kids' interest as much. As soon as the children hear the intro to Baby Mozart, they settle down and watch, talk about their favorite toy shown, and giggle at the puppet that sticks his tongue out. What a lifesaver....I know I wouldn't be able to keep my sanity without this video. Kudos for Baby Mozart!

Summary: great stuff for my infant
Review: My 7mo. old girl has enjoyed these since about 2 months. She watches intently and really seems to be concentrating on what she is seeing. It is great when I need to get my shower- i just strap her in the bouncy seat in front of the Baby Einstein video, and she is Always content! I feel like it is good for her to have something to "study", they are constantly learning!
