Summary: worst of the series!
Review: My daughter hates this video (which surprised me and my husband) given that she really enjoys the other videos in the Einstein series. Hardly three minutes into this video, and she is screaming and crying. Her favorites? Baby Van Gogh, Baby Beethoven, and Baby Santa.

Summary: OK
Review: I was excited to buy this from a friends recommendation. Our daughter did seem mildly interested at first, but it is VERY slow paced and I really don't think much of the other languages on the DVD. There is german, jewish (?!) and a few others. I think there are better products out there!

Summary: holds my 3 month old's rapt attention
Review: My 3 month old loves this video. True, it is a little boring for adults. That is because it is perfectly suited to a baby's entertainment. It is not meant to teach your baby different languages, but to allow her/him to hear the sounds of different languages because babies are "primed" for learning language sounds in the first year. And if we both learn a few words in Hebrew or Japanese, all the better!

Summary: Now that I know the concept I like this video a lot
Review: I'll be the first one to admit, that I thought I just flush money down the drain when I bought this video. At first I thought that this DVD would "teach" my girls a foreign language. Like saying the "ABC's" in English then French, then German, etc.

It wasn't until I heard that kids need to HEAR other languages to hear the different sounds did this DVD make sense to me. Example: I think it is Japanese people that if they do not know English can not hear the difference in FA and LA. So the Christmas song with "Fa la la la la la la, it is all the same to them.

My girls love it (9 months old), and it is my hope that this DVD will help them later in life be able to hear the different sounds.

Summary: Unstimulating for my baby
Review: After about 5 minutes of watching this video, my 5 month old appeared to be bored and started whining. The objects on the screen weren't animated enough for her and she quickly lost interest. She loves lots of movement, activity and music but this video was much slower paced and not right for her.

I personally thought it was neat that the video was in different languages but the sounds did not capture her interest. She prefers more upbeat and faster-paced music/sounds.

Summary: It stops my son from crying EVERY time!!
Review: This video is AMAZING!! My son is 6 months old and is in love with this video. He is a very fussy baby, but every time you put on Baby Einstein, it instantly stops him from crying. He smiles and laughs and flirts with the dolls and the little girl at the end. His favorites are the train and the cow in the begining. I've watched it so many times with him, I am starting to learn the alphabet in different languages. We don't have any of the other Einstein movies, but I am going to order another today. A DVD this time so I can put it on continuous play. He will watch Einstein 3 times in a row before he is sick of it. It is a savor for parents! 5 stars from my husband and I, oh, and the babysitter too!

Summary: Making your baby an Einstein
Review: My 10 month old son has been watching the Baby Einstein series of videos since he was 3 months old. He loves them all. I'll put him in front of the TV in his exersaucer or playpen and I can get the things I need to get done while he's watching. Baby Einstein is especially good because it introduces him to sounds that he will need to learn different languages that he will not pick up in his everyday surroundings. I've tried other brands of "baby oriented" videos and he doesn't like them at all, but I pop a Baby Einstein video in and he's entralled.

Summary: Boring and, I imagine, confusing
Review: My son (8 months old) LOVES Baby Mozart, so I bought this one. He's bored almost as soon as I put the video on. It just babbles different languages and gives no indication about what the words are referring to. Ex: maybe it should show a banana, say "banana" in different languages. Instead, it sometimes just starts saying the alphabet, and who knows what else- seems unrelated to the item shown and must be cunfusing.

Summary: it's ok...not my favorite
Review: I had purchased Baby Mozart for my 4th child when he was 6 months old. He always enjoyed this video. When my 5th child was born we shared the video with her. She enjoyed it with the same enthusiam as her brother did. At 9 months I decided she needed some more of these videos...some variety. I selected Baby Einstein next. I really didn't compare it to all of the others before purchase...I wish I had. We enthusiastically put it in and my daughter did not react as enthusiastically as she always had with Baby Mozart. The language was boring in comparison to all the music and unique sounds on Baby Mozart. Immediately we purchased Baby Bach and my daughter was delighted! We alternate between Baby Bach and Baby Mozart, which are similar, but different. Ocasionally I will put Baby Einstein in for a change of pace. After reading the various reviews, I look forward to receiving other videos in the series to give my children a wider range of variety.

Summary: My little genius loves this !
Review: What a great idea ! A video/DVD just for babies. My little one loves it ! When he's fussy or overstimulated, we just put this on and he settles right down-even talks to the screen and enjoys HIS movie ! It has been a real help. We even have the Baby Mozart too which can help him lull off to sleep at night when a little extra help is required. This is a must for any parent !!
