Summary: This was the best way to end it!
Review: I'm seeing alot of bad reviews for this DVD, but did anyone really even see it? It was definately the best episode, and the best way they could end this show. I've been a huge fan since the beginning and had my heart set on Joey and Pacey. They did have the best chemistry after all. Joey and Dawson would just be so typical. And to see Jen die was heartbreaking. But the whole gay thing with Jack and Pacey's bro was a little gross. He should've turned straight and married Jen! I'm so excited this is out on DVD. I only hope they put out more whole seasons.

Summary: Just as it should be!
Review: The final show was wonderful! .... Dawson is a scared little boy who never grew up; thank goodness that Joey did not choose him. I also loved the fact that Jack found someone and that Jen made Joey finally choose. It was a brillant finale.

Summary: from not interested to addicted
Review: I have been watching the show this summer on reruns. As an older adult i never watched the show before.. thinking it was for the teenagers. I have become addicted and in love with this show. I havent seenthe finale but am ordering it now.
I was sooo happy to read reviews and see Joey and Pacey ended up together..I wanted that from the beginning. I stopped wanting the Dawson thing when he acted like a spoiled brat when Pacey and Joey first got together. So thanks for the reviews.. i am ecstatic to hear they are together and cant wait to watch it

Summary: Dawson's the dream, Pacey's the reality
Review: What I don't think people realized about this ending was the way Kevin Williamson was showing through the cut ins of Dawson's show/dreams. He was trying to tell you that the idea of Joey/Dawson was the dream, the ideal story plot, the thing that was so perfect that it couldn't be true. He was showing the the Joey/Pacey relationship was what was true, earthly, and real. It's the first season of Dawson's Creak poking through at you between the lines via Kevin's artistic view.

It's full of fun and drama. It will make you laugh and cry. But it's probably only good for those of you who followed the story line and have an idea of what has gone on for the past few years. Trust me, if you did follow it and missed the season finale, you need to see this!

Summary: Best ever!
Review: Let me just say, that I was on pins and needles waiting to find out who Joey picked. Personally she picks exactly who she should pick. You hear a lot of arguments that Dawson is her soulmate, well best friends can be soulmates too, just look at My Best Friends Wedding... same exact situation you've got your best friend who you think should be a love interest but in reality should not. Dawson will always be Joey's best friend. As for the other characters, I love what happens between Deputy Doug and Jack, finally Jack gets a happy ending too. I kind of wish they had included Andie in the series finale but... it was still awesome. The writers really break your heart with Jen but the show is a drama and well the whole Jen thing was very dramatic. Even if the outcome isn't what you want it to be, you can't help but love the show no matter what happens.

Review: After watching Dawsons creek for how many years i believe we've all been drawn to the show and captivated believing it was our on life. I mean every wed. i believed that i was part of there group and was then continuing our conversation on from last weeks clincher.
Now that the show has ended i almost feel empty i mean.. what will happen to Pacey and Joey.. will DAwson meet ne one.. WHAT HAPPENED TO ANDIE! i mean the endding was great number one finale in my book but i just wish they would have completed it better and maybe in five years show us where they are now..!

Summary: There Lives arn't Over Yet
Review: I have been a fan of "Dawson's Creek" from the very first episode. I started watching the show because it aired after "Buffy the Vampires Slayer" and there was nothing else on the air. Well after the first couple of episodes I fell in love with the show. It actually had characters that you could care about (even if they were a little unrealistic at time, I would like to meet a 15 year-old that says the word monogomy). By the time the second season premired I was hooked and I stayed hooked until the very last episode.

Over the course of my childhood (I was 11 when Dawson started) there are three TV shows that i will remember watching every week, never missing an episode (except for one, 127/128 isn't bad). I will remember how the character's grew, loved, laughed, and cried. I will remeber reading the books because i couldn't stand the long rerun filled summers. Yes, Dawson's Creek was one of those shows, it was that good.

The story of Dawson's Creek is very simple (but at the same time very involved). The show is about 5 kids (season 2-4 it was 6)who grew up together in the small fictional town of Capeside, and then later moved to the big city to go to college together. Thoughout high-school they taught themsleves and each other many differnt and inportant life lessons. There's Dawson the doe-eyed dreamer who thinks of life as one big movie. There's Joey who is the classic girl-next-door with the heart bigger than the world. Pacey the Tomcat, but who has his deep secrets. Jen, the bad girl from New York who is sent to live with her Grandmother to settle down. Jack, the [alternative lifestyle] guy who spends the show trying to figure out who the hell he is. And Finally Andie. Throughout six years they went from immature blind high-school freshman's to informed, mature, and collected Collge Sophomores.

When "All good things.... must come to an end" starts it has been 5 long years since the kids were last together making Dawson biographical story. Joey has become a successful book editor in New York City, and a long sabatical in France. Dawson has his own series "The Creek." Pacey owns the new "Ice House" in Capeside. Jack is a High School English Teacher. And Jen is a single mom still living with Grams. They all return to Capeside for Gail wedding, the the reunion is a happy one full of joy and old feelings, until the unthinkable happens... Jen collapses on the ground, and it comes to find out that she is going to die and very soon.

The rest of the episode reloves around Jen and the group dealing with the fact that she is going to die, and they relize how lucky they all are and they grow-up really quick and right. Jen dieing makes them all grow up and relize time is precious and the drama is not worth it, even Grams learns alot from her granddaughter. Grams even has the honor of the line that actually made me break down crying; after Jen dies she says "I'll see you soon, darleing... soon." I couldn't help it, it was just so emotional and real. With Jen's death Jack realizes that he needs to be responsible now that he's a father (he adopts Jen's daughter) and he finally settles down with the perfect guy. Joey realizes that even though her and Dawson are and always be soul mates, that she still belongs with Pacey.

I was never a fan of the Pacey/Joey relationship, i actually protested it alot, but in the end i found it a fitting ending to the tv show. The ending i would have like to have seen would have been Dawson/Jen, Pacey/Andie, and Joey finally free. I can't wait to see the director's cut off the end to this fantastic episode. I know that some of the cut scenes involves Andy at Gales Wedding, Andy and Pacey takling on the Harbor, Flashbacks from years past and where the characters have been for the last 5 years, and a scene where the core 5 group share there last fun time together (not at the Ice House). Well looks like the kids "Didn't have to wait [til] there lives were over" after all.

Summary: Retired Fan
Review: I am still shaking my head in disbelief over the way this show ended so I am warning any real old school fans of the show to just skip this episode entirely. Nothing about it made any sense. Dawson and Joey, who were in love from the pilot episode until the second to last episode, didn't end up together. It was a complete travesty. Seriously the most unsatisfying conclusion to a television show I have ever witnessed. What kind of crackerjack staff doesn't have the main couple end up together? Are they trying to turn us all into hardened cynics? Again, I ask you to heed my warning and skip this DVD. It is a terrible end to a show that once had a lot of potential.

Summary: Loved the shows, but disappointed in the ending!
Review: I am a huge Dawson's Creek fan. I set the VCR timer every day and never missed a single show. I could not wait for the ending to come. I just knew that finally, at last, Dawson and Joey would end up together and live happily ever after as it should be. Then I watched the ending and for the first time I turned the channel. I saw where it was going. I could sense that it wasn't going to be the ending that I anticipated. It was a huge let down. I wasn't that fond of the Pacey character to begin with. I thought he was an okay friend to Dawson but lets face it, the real story was the bond between Dawson and Joey. The fact that the bond didn't lead to romance or a future together was both disappointing and unrealistic. Given the huge infatuation that Joey had for Dawson, and the fact that he loved her unconditionally, in today's world that would have led to something. But I guess the writer figured that he would take an artistic leap into another dimension or something. I was so disappointed. It's like everything I had hoped for since the very first episode was shown had died before my very eyes in one show. I'm not sure why the writer messed up a very good show like that but I wish he hadn't. I still love the Dawson's Creek shows that I've recorded but now I can't help think "It's just not going to happen, Dawson, give it up." I think that every fan should write to the writer of the show and complain about that, but hey that's just my opinion. I am ready for the Second Season to come out on DVD. I wish it would very soon. I'd much rather see that than the Series Finale. One thing that I do hope this DVD has is some explanation as to why they messed it up by putting Joey and Pacey together. We need answers!!
