Review: Angelina Jolie IS Gia! A well deserved Golden Globe Award proves just how incredible she is in the role. This is one brutal movie that will leave a lasting impression. The unrated version is very graphic, but I found myself drawn into this film through the incredible acting and the damp and moody art direction. Gia found success, stardom, drugs, and sex early on, but tragically paid the price....it's a good lesson for all. A must see!!

Summary: Gia is the greatest movie I've ever seen...
Review: I had seen a lot of good movies, but when I saw Gia, none of them could compare. Being a bisexual woman myself, it was very very touching. I never get tired of watching it. It's by far the best movie ever and Angelina is a true beauty. It's like feeling her pain while watching the movie, a real tear-jerker. I'm in love with her amazing performance.

Review: I first heard about "Gia" on Entertainment Tonight right before it came out in January of 1998. I saw the movie on HBO about nine months later on the free preview and loved it. Since I first saw it, Angelina Jolie has been my favorite actress. I recommend any Angelina Jolie movie, and I truly recommend this movie to anyone who enjoys biographies and Angelina Jolie!

Review: I just want to say that Angelina Jolie was amazing, but no one's giving any credit to Elizabeth Mitchell, who was incredible with her sweet smile, terrific performance, and angelic demeanor. Great movie! I recommend it to open- minded people. I'm a heterosexual woman, but the sex scenes were very touching. It's a bit of a romance, too.

Summary: Tragic destruction of a beautiful model.....................
Review: Yet again, Angelina Jolie amazes me - having previously seen her strong-willed performance in Foxfire (a definite must-see for everyone, esp. Angelina fans) - she manages to dominate the entire film with her heart-breaking performance. She conveys both a 'vulnerability' and 'toughness' to the role which, I'm sure no other MAW (Model, Actress, Whatever) would be able to do. Alas, the film is not without its flaws - Cristofer's direction in particular, tended to irritate - the excessive use of jump-cuts, shifting from black and white to color, and that godawful trumpet music (who the heck decided on that?!?) - but otherwise, the performances (especially Jolie's, certainly made up for it). Another problem I had with this film, was the fact that Elizabeth Mitchell was VERY underrated - she deserved at least a Golden Globe nomination for best supporting actress, I mean, she was great; very sweet and loving toward Gia (one of the few people in the film who really cared for her).Overall, probably one of the best TV Movies made.

Review: Angelina Jolie was great in this movie much like her father in "Coming Home' It is a beautiful movie that tells the strory of Gia who is gone but not frogotten it will make you cry like it made me at the end it has a solid cast great director and so fort it will make you look at life and appreciate what you got already and if your male or female im sure you will cry

Summary: Hold Your Horses!
Review: Geeez! Calm down everybody! This movie is ALL RIGHT. Gia is very entertaining to watch, but it cannot hold a candle to any really good drama. The themes of this film appeal to a broad audience and are dealt with in a very straightforward manner, so it's no wonder that so many viewers highly ranked this movie. If you are a true connoisseur of film, however, I'd skip this flick.
