Rating: Summary: Are there going to be MORE? Review: Dawsons Creek Season I, was great but are there going to be all the other seasons?
Rating: Summary: great! Review: I have been a loyal watcher of Dawsons Creek since it first aired on the WB. I love it and can't wait until season 2 comes out!
Rating: Summary: Hello! It's Dawson's Creek! Review: Nothing makes me think high school like Dawson's creek, Wednesday nights at 8. No matter what else could be going on, everything would have to stop, online conversations resumed at 9 when it was over, boyfriends called back, whatever, but I WOULD see what happened with Joey, Dawson, Pacey and the gang. I can't even believe it's over really, although I don't know what else I expected to happen, but I'm glad that I can have this first season of the Creek to watch whenever I want, and hopefully they will release the rest soon.
Rating: Summary: Fantastic! Worth every penny and more! Review: This is one of the best dvd sets that I own. I watched every episode in one weekend and still watch them over and over again. Now, with the obvious statement, WHERE IS SEASON TWO!!!
Rating: Summary: The Most Addictive Show Ever! Review: Yeah, all right, I know, "Dawson's Creek" is little more than a soap opera. But what an entertaining soap opera nonetheless. The interplay between James Van Der Beek's earnest dreamer Dawson and the sarcastic Joey(Katie Holmes), the relationship between Dawson and the far more experinced Jen(Michelle Williams) or everyone's favorite ne'er-do-well Pasey(Joshua Jackson) hooking up with his English teacher. Ah, how this series brings back memories of far too many Wedensday nights in front of the television screen. And there is something that everyone can identify to themselves. Dawson? who hasn't had that unattainble dream that you wnat to reach. Joey? who hasn't liked someone who is too dumb to notice. Jen? Who hasn't wanted to out run their past. And of course the easily realtible Pasey Whitter, the series most memorable charactor, who had good intentions, but never really knew how to follow through on those intentions. Was this the best season? No, that would have to be the fourth, when Pasey and Joey got togather. But its far from the worse( a distinction that goes to the last two.) Is the show a little whiny? Yeah. Unbelieveble? Defintily. But if you want a realistic teen drama, get the "My So Called Life" box set. But for a good time(or if you need to do some quick studying for the Verbal S.A.T.), "Dawson's Creek: Season One". You wont regret it.
Rating: Summary: It Comes To And End For Belgium Viewers Review: Today the last season of DC started in Belgium. Great new look for Pacey! I can't believe this is the last season of my favourite show. I do regret it that Joey ends up with Dawson at the end, yes I know already :-) , and not with Dawson?! But maybe it was mend to be. I will enjoy this last season, because I know, it doesn't really end. It lives on on DVD. ThankXXX to everyone involved for great wonderful six seasons of DAWSON'S CREEK!!!
Rating: Summary: Dawson's Creek Is The BEST SHOW! Review: I Have Been A Fan Of Dawson's Creek Since Their First Episode.I Was So Happy When Season 1 Came Out On DVD. I Can't Wait For The Rest Of The Seasons To Come Out On DVD. YAY!!!!
Rating: Summary: Finally Review: I am so glad that this series is finally making it to DVD. I became a Dawson's fan after the 3rd season, so am glad that I can now catch up on earlier episodes. This is a great series for anyone interested in reliving the teenage years. The first season is well-written and well-acted.
Rating: Summary: They don't make teen shows like this anymore... Review: Dawson's Creek definitely changed the landscape of teen dramas. Sure, My So Called Life came before it, but it didn't last as long, or have the popular appeal of Dawson's Creek. The DC kids talk like English teachers and act like colllege students, but there are some truly magical moments in the First Season. A great show for a true romantic.
Rating: Summary: AN HONEST AND SINCERE REVIEW........ Review: Recently I was laid up for a week after surgery and with so much time on my hands, I decided to sit down and immerse myself in the world that is Dawson's Creek. My mother had bought the DVD to watch with my sister and I had endured pleny of rave reviews so I figured why not. I found myself giving it a try because I liked James Vander Beek and Katie Holmes in the various movies I had seen them in. They are smart individuals and I was hoping they would transcend the usual teen genre.Unfortunately I was severly dissapointed. I made it midway through episode three before I became disguted and frustrated. The characters of Joey and Dawson are unique and refreshing in their ideals and thoghts but that is about the only good thing I can say about it. The plots are ludicrous and filled with holes. I noticed a few dispariging things right away. First off, I can understand that everyone lives next to each other but the way everyone keeps running into each other is ridiculous. For example in episode one when Pacey runs into Ms Jacobs on the dock in the middle of the night. The dialogue is witty but it is unrealistic for 15 year olds. Who talks like that? The series revolves around who likes who which just gets old really quick. I don't understand why this got all the acclaim it did. It was boring and contrived. For a better stuff of a similar nature try My So Called Life. This is done better and is less time involving. For more originality try Buffy, which deals with the same issues yet manages to be much more interesting and entertaining. Bottom Line: People who like watching annoying whiners deal with the same problems week after week should love this. Katie Holmes stalkers will also be satisfied.
