Summary: Felicity Porter is 18 again...
Review: I loved 'Felicity' while it was on the air. I still catch late night reruns on 'WE: Women's Entertainment'. Even though I still get to see Jennifer Garner (Hannah) and Greg Grunberg (Sean) on ABC's 'ALIAS' (also a JJ Abrams creation ;-D), I still miss the cast of 'Felicity'.. especially Megan, Javier, Noel and Richard. This first-season collection is awesome. I hope seasons 2-4 will also be released on DVD/VHS in the future -- I know I'll buy 'em!!

Summary: Felicity the complete first season is awesome!
Review: The first season of Felicity is amazing! After seeing all four seasons on television it was refreshing to go back to the pilot episode where it all started. I was amazed to see how much I had forgotten and how much I enjoyed reliving Felicity's first years at college. Now I can enjoy the show whenever I want, not just when the women's entertainment network puts it on. I can only hope that whoever decided to sell the first season, will make the next three seasons available as well!

Summary: One of my Favorite Shows of All Time
Review: I started watching this show from the very beginning and was hooked right away. I'm sorry that it had to come to an end but I am grateful that it can live on in dvd format.I bought Felicity: The Complete First Season on dvd the day it was released. I had doubts over whether it was a good idea to purchase it or not... would I really make use of it, or would it just sit on the shelf after I watched it once? But I can say I am definitely very happy with my purchase. Right from the first episode I was hooked again. I fell in love with all the characters all over again. The only thing I'm not happy about is that the other seasons haven't been released and I haven't heard anything about when they will be. I have watched all of season one and I'm very anxious to buy the other seasons. I hope they release them soon.

Summary: One of TV's Best Dramas - Ever
Review: While The Sopranos is head and shoulders above any other drama ever made for television, I think that Felicity can be thrown into the second-tier group of excellent dramas that stare up at everyone's favorite mob family from below.

It may have not gotten good viewership, and may have been on a station that is viewed by others for "teens only," but Felicity rose above everything that went against it - rumors of cancellation after a few weeks, mocking skits on "Mad TV," and backlash that the show was too intense - to win acclaim with Keri Russell's shocking win as Best Actress in the 1998 Golden Globe awards. (After the backlash about the show being too intense, there was a noticeable shift to lighthearted. See the episode where Noel sees Ben and Felicity in the library studying and starts yelling in subtitles for proof that the show could be more than depressing.)

It's writing and ensemble cast allowed it to be different than other generic teenager shows (Dawson's Creek, Beverly Hills 90210). The show looked professional (shot on film) and never wavered from being just that. Although it may have faltered a little in the following seasons - what show doesn't? - it was always one of television's best dramas.

It's sad to say that if Russell never cut off all her hair in Season 2, the show may still be on. Almost 40% of viewers stopped watching after she did.

Summary: Can't Wait For the Rest of College
Review: Well, after spending several nights in a row, watching anxiously until Ben and Felicity finally kiss on that last disk, I can't wait until there is word that the next three seasons will be released. When I graduated highschool in 1998, I began to live for the show to come on after Dawson's Creek (which started to loose some of its zest after I had started college and the actors looked older than me, ie. Dawson's major hair loss). Graduating from college as Felicity's four year run ended, brought the realization that, like some of my close friends I had come to make, I would never see my tv "friends" again either. Having the first season on DVD was like a college reunion. That being said, I wish there were more extras on the disks. Only having director commentary (on only some of the episodes), I thought at least pictures or some other little tid-bits might have really made the [X]-something price tag worthwhile. Sure, not having to fastforward through commercials was better but that was probably the only real benefit I could see for the purchase of a major DVD collection (the other being having the whole season in a set rather than on several random tapes I used to own).

Summary: When will the other seasons be available on DVD???
Review: I was so upset when Felicity went off of the air. I received the first season on DVD as a birthday gift and love it! My only question is, will the other seasons be available on DVD soon???????

Summary: A Great addition to your collection
Review: I began watching "Felicity" in it's first season and loved it. It was so different than other shows for young people. For once, the protagonist wasn't a stereotypical popular high-schooler. Felicity was a nerdy, overachiever who never had a boyfriend and took a chance that led her somewhere new. It was especially dissapointing then when the series became like every other show on TV during it's second season. Felicity became less and less likable as the seasons progressed until the show ended this past May. But, in the first season is a perfectly preserved example of just how good TV for young people could be if anyone actually tried to be different. Definitly pick up this boxed set; it has every show in the first season and you will watch them over and over again. The only drawback to the first season is the character Julie; she is a whiny, self-involved, poorly written and acted character and if I could go back on the DVD and remove her I would. She's just not interesting. She would be more at home in "Dawson's Creek". They rest of the cast and characters are great, Noel in particular is really funny. You'll love this set.

Summary: Yeahhhhhhhhh She's Back!!!
Review: I can't believe Felicity is back!! Atleast on Dvd. This is the Best show I have ever seen!! I started watching it from the very beginning and fell in love with it. I am so happy the DVD came out and I don't think the other seasons will come out fast enough. It is so much fun to go back and be able to watch all of the episodes without commercials. I love the Thanksgiving one when Felicity comes out of the bathroom after making out with Noel, very funny!! I can't understand why the WB canceled this show when it was the best show they had. Now they have a bunch of dark evil shows like Birds of Prey, Charmed, smallville, etc. They were nuts to have ever canceled Felicity. Pleassssssssse let me know when the other seasons of Felicity will be coming out on DVD. I love this show!!! If you are a Felicity fan you definitely have to have these.
