Review: Rocky is without a doubt my favorite movie ever made. Sylvester Stallone pumps me up each and every time I watch it. You'll find yourself throwing punches, wishing that you were out in that ring with Rocky. I can and have watched this film all day long.

Review: Out of all of the movies that I have ever seen, and I've seen plenty, Rocky was, by far, one of the best, along with it's many sequels. It's a great story of the power of determination and that if you really really want to go the distance and you try your absolute best, then anything is possible. The Rocky movies are probably the only movies that I can watch over and over and still have the story pull me in. It was excellently written and acted, and definately deserved that Best Picture Oscar. Everyone should see this movie!

Review: What can you say about Rocky!It has got to be the most remarkable movie of all time. Nobody could have playe Rocky but Stallone. He should have won best actor but gave a symphty award to Albert Finney. Truly a gem.Movies 2-5 are good but can't compare to the uneducated Rocky 1.Burt Young was best supporting actor thats how good he was. The fight scenes were great. Creed looked devistating, Rocky was over match at first but came on in the later rounds.If for some reason you have not seen this film then BUY IT you will wan't to see it again and agaain as I have.

Review: This film seems to get better and better every time i watch it. The characters are sublime and the acting done in a way which makes me will rocky on to victory. Never again will we see a work of art like this and never again will sly have a chance to do a moving film.

Summary: Rocky is a knockout
Review: Rocky is a movie about a down and out club figther in Philadelphia who through a quirk of fate gets a shot at the title. Sylvester Stallone stars as Rocky essentially portraying himself an overweight, over thirty Italian American. He is stuck in an underacheiving life living alone in a run down section of Philadelphia and earning money by collecting loans for a two bit mobster. On the side Rocky pursues a long faded dream of boxing through boxing local club fighters in his neighborhood. Rocky's big break comes when the world champion Appollo Creed (played by Carl Weathers)chooses Rocky to be his opponent in a champioinship bout to be fought in Philadelphia. Creed had originally intended to fight a top contender but he was injured. Creed's character is based on Muhammed Ali with all the flair and showmanship included. Most of the movie follows Rocky working out for the big fight. Woven into this plot is the love story between him and the local introvert Adrian who works in the pet shop where Rocky buys his pets (his turtles Cuff and Link and dog Butkus) The thing that makes this movie great are the workout scene with Rocky's dash up the steps of Philadelphia's city hall to the theme music one of the greatest scenes in the history of cinema. Secondly the fight scenes where a cocky and careless Appollo Creed is stunned by the club fighter Balboa who turns what was supposed to be a mismatch into a classic 15 round heavyweight struggle. Thirdly the relationship between Adrian and Rocky develops into a heartwarming love story culmihnated by their embrace in the ring at the end of the title fight and movie. Rocky goes the distance giving the audience the age old message that you are never to old to chase your dreams.

Review: An epic in all sences of the word. This was the movie that kick started all the other Rockys, and stallones carrier, but I personaly feel it's the best of the series. And the acting was also by far the most heart felt. Also try Rambo 1, You might be suprised.

Review: Rocky is the best movie to ever be created. It started a series that turned into the best movie series ever. It caputerd its veiwers into Rocky's world and told a story of love and triumph. Rocky Balboa is truly the greatest character to every be created on the big-screen. I believe that if there is one truly good movie ROCKY is it!
