Summary: GREAT MOVIE..MARIE OSMOND IS EXCEPTIONAL
Review: Even though the box says it is closed-captioned (CC), I could not make captions show up on my computer using various software or on my portable DVD player. I finally came to the conclusion that the company evidently goofed not incorporating the captions in the DVD edition. I sent e-mail to the company that created it and they never replied. NOTE: Closed-captioning (CC) is for hearing-impaired people who get more enjoyment out of the movie when closed-captions (e.g. subtitles) are shown.

Review: I have been looking for this movie since VHS's were available. The movie is Wonderful! Yes, I have grown to love Marie Osmond over the years...this movie made me an avid fan both of her singing & acting abilities. I saw this movie for the first time when it was shown on TV in the 70's. Chalk it up to a teenager's raging emotions back then, but this love story hit home as the kind of love I wanted in my life! Please watch it and succumb to all of your emotions! This is a wonderful version of O'Henry's novel, "The Gift of the Magi". PS: Beautiful clothes too.

Summary: My classic Christmas movie
Review: I have sat for many CHRISTmas seasons in a row and watched this video. It is one of the best movies around that demonstrate the reason for the season, and how we ideally should end up treating each other in our close personal relationships! I would recommend it to ANYONE; I usually sit and watch it with my two girls - and we always cry at the end, even thought we know what is coming!BUY IT AND ENJOY!

Summary: THE BEST CHRISTMAS MOVIE OF ALL TIME
Review: I have watched this movie over and over. I think this is what Christmas is all about! The love between these two young people is just a beautiful story and how they struggled to make it happen. Based on Gift of the Maji and follows the story line very well. Marie Osmond gives a excellent performance in her first picture. This has become a holiday tradition around my house and hope it will for you also.

Review: I saw this movie back when I was in High School. I only saw it once and it was never on TV again to my knowledge. I was so touched by it. It is a sweet and gentle movie that teaches about the true meaning of Christmas and the giving of something we love to someone else. Marie Osmond was exquisite in it. I am so excited after all these years I have found it again and can I have the joy of watching it again.
