Summary: Surprisingly good: not just another fairy tale.
Review: This version of an old tale is enlivened by a great cast. Anjelica Huston gave a five star performance as the conniving step mother. Scott's performance as prince charming is very convincing. It is refreshing to see that the heroine is no longer cast in the victimised role but as somebody who can fend for herself. However, the ending is in my opinion rather too tame. It seemed too easy for Danielle to escape the clutches of the landlord to whom she was sold. It appeared as if she was never in any real danger at all. The viewers were not allowed to root for her very much. The wedding scene was a little too over acted. Overall, however, it is very entertaining and out of the ordinary, not just another fairy tale.

Review: When I saw this movie, it took my breathe away. If only real life was as dream ending as this movie we would all live in a fairy tale. This movie shows what real love is all about. I could feel the passion between the prince and Cinderella. These is a most see movie for everyone. See this movie with someone you love.

Review: I absolutely loved this movie, watching it at least 5 times in 2 days. This movie is a wonderful contemporary adaptation to one of the best-loved classics of all time. It is incredibly romantic and makes us believe in the power of the human heart. Yet it is also tastefully funny, preventing it from being too dramatic or serious. I highly recommend this movie!

Review: I have only seen Ever After once, but I am willing to rent it again or maybe even buy it. All of the actors and actresses in this movie were terrific; well actually they were magnificant. The story line has interesting twists and turns to it, compared to the original story of Cinderella. Drew Barrymore plays a great randiton of Cindrella. Dougray Scott also makes an excellent Prince Charming. He could sweep me off my feet any time. The plot is terrific. It flows really well together. I don't want to give away the story line, so I'll keep my mouth shut. I think that this movie is ideal for all ages. Kids to the elderly can enjoy this movie. I'm in my late teens and I really liked this movie. This is because of its modern appeal. It shows that a woman can be just as strong as a man. This adds kind of a humourus appeal to the movie. Back then woman weren't allowed to act tough or voice their opnion. Drew Barrymore's character helps bring the opposite to life in a delightful and witty manor. I would like to the end this by saying that I give Ever After: The Cinderella Story two thumbs way way up.
