Rating: Summary: full of promise, but fails to deliver Review: I agree with one of the other reviewers: the movie was cut to shreds, re-shot in places, and generally is a different movie than intended. A Director's Cut may restore the project to its original promise. On the plus side, it shows more of the "inside" of the disco scene, whereas "The Last Days...." looked at things from the customer side. Let's hope the next decade holds something more enlightening than this drug (including alcohol and tobacco!) saturated scene!

Rating: Summary: I really liked it Review: I thought this was a great movie, Mike Myers did a great job and so did every one else. I highly suggest to either rent it or buy it.
Rating: Summary: #1 movie of all time... Review: It takes alot for a movie to earn that title, but I feel that 54 deserves it. With a superb cast and setting, you feel like you're there. And what better place to be than the legendary Studio 54? The soundtrack kicks and the movie doesn't moralize or portray the free spirit that reigned in Steve Rubell's paradise night club as something negative. Ryan Phillippe is gorgeous as Bartender, Shane54, and Mike Myers gives his best performance yet as Steve Rubell.
Rating: Summary: Great movie about Studio 54 Review: I absolutly loved this movie. It doesn't really have one single plot it just kind of tells about what studio 54 was like. I think they could have put a little more into Steve Rubell's part (which is played by Mike Myers). But Mike Myers does a wounderful job in playing the part and really sets the base for the whole movie. This movie really does show what the 70's were like. It gives you the feeling to want to be free and happy all the time just like the 70's were (most of the time). I recomend the soundtrack too. The music is great. A lot of #1 hits on both of the records.
Rating: Summary: The best movie I've ever seen! Review: This is truly a wonderful film. It's all about Studio 54 and the days of disco. Mike Meyers plays the deeply disturbed Steve Rubell, the studio owner who was a drug addict and he was gay. This is his best role, in my opion, in his lifetime. It was so much different from his previous comedy films and he played Steve so well. Newcomer Ryan Phillippe is truly the star of this film though. His gorgeous looks, curly blond hair and his charms gave "Shane54" character and makes me want to watch the movie over and over again. The only thing about the whole movie is they didn't even mention Ian (the other owner). But that's trivial. If you haven't seen this film yet, please...see it.
Rating: Summary: True to the Real Studio 54 Review: I have always heard stories and seen pictures from two close friends of mine. They were real bartenders in Studio 54. Onc has a Cameo in the movie. This movie captured the real feeling of the legend or Studio 54. There will never be another Night Club know around the world. This movie gives you a peak at what made this club great.
