Review: Help! Where can I find a love like the one in this movie. I saw it three times, and each time, I came out with the same feeling. You know... that feeling of pure bliss. What can I say, accept that Ever After is just one of the most delightful movies I have ever seen. If you have not seen it yet, you are clearly missing out. As soon as it comes out on video, I will be one of the first customers to get in line for it here on Guam.

Review: I love the movie "Ever After." I couldn't give it five stars, because, though it is very good, it just doesn't rate up there with romance classics like "Casablanca," "Gone With The Wind," and "From Here to Eternity."

Summary: An improvement of an already delightful classic!
Review: As it is, I have always loved the Cinderella fairy tale, but this movie takes it to a new, mature level. Danielle is not afraid to stand up for herself, and is willing to fight for what she believes in. She's not just handed her good fortune on a golden platter. Also, the relationship between Danielle and her step-mother was SO intriguing. It isn't portrayed so real in the classic fairy tale! And wasn't it refreshing to see a step-sister who was actually nice!! All the pieces of the movie, the romance, the adversity, the fantasy, they all came together perfectly, and in the perfect setting. Barrymore, Houston, and Scott's performances were all amazing, and put together created a perfect modern version of my favorite fairy tale.

Review: This is a great movie, and one of Barrymore's best. It isn't like the fairy tale that you would expect; it has romance, yet still has a lot of spunk with Drew's attitude. It's awe aspiring and you won't forget it!!!!

Summary: Breathtakingly beautiful, down to earth and romantic
Review: Not only was this a version of our beloved fairy tale, that wasn't based on the girl simply ending up with the prince...it's based on a woman who earned his respect and trust, and was wholesome and honest! And that's what payed off in the end. I guess it's safe to say, Drew Barrymore beautifully played the part of a woman, whom we all probably wish we could be like today. I was also delighted that it was something I could go back to again, with my 4 year old daughter. She can't stop asking when the movie is going to be on video. It provides a much better message/role model for her to follow, than Disney's Cinderella. Simply marvelous. What more is there to say...

Review: As a high school teacher---I loved this movie--because Danielle had a mind of her own and courage and determination. I took my class of office students--all girls--to see this movie becasue I felt it was so inspiring in how to deal with difficult things in our life. They all loved it. Danielle was her own person--and the Prince loved her because she had opinions, convinctions and strength. What a wonderful message for all young women--and us old ones too.

Review: This movie is spectacular! Not only do the costumes and locations make the movie worth watching, but the story is so wonderful. I love the strong, self-sufficient Cinderella. Definitely a movie I would be happy for younger girls to see.
