Review: I loved Drew Barrymore's Ever After. I have se many movir since but that one is still the first on on my list! I liked how they modernized Cinderella but still had the old charm. Before Ever After came out I wasn't a big fan of Barrymore but I rent a lot more of her movies now. Barrymoe plays a character who is stronger then the average bear.....she fights fo anything she wants she doesn't cry. I wanted to get right up next to her and fight the evile step mother. For anyone who doesn't particully LIKE Fairy Tails there is a lot more stuff in there too! There is action, romance and even some humor too, that is why I would recommend it too ANYONE there are things for anyone in the movie. Some people made remarks about the wierd time periods mixed up togehter......did you go there to see a film on HISTORY?!??!??!? I movie had a great story line not because of the fact that the story line was Cinderella but the characters were awesome too. PLEASE go to to rent this or buy it WHAT EVER!!! GO NOWWWWW.

Review: This has got to be my favorite movie of all time. I have seen it like 10 times and I never get bored and it always has something new to show me. I have never really liked Drew Barrymore but she was dazzeling as her character, Danielle(cinderella). I had never heard of Dougray Scott before this movie but I absolutely love him now. He is the handsome Prince Henry who wins Danielle's heart. Drew was the most perfect cinderella and Angelica Houston was definitely magnificent as the Step-mother. There was never a moment in the story that I was bored or falling asleep. It is a wonderful tale of how true love conquers all. The characters were so believable that I atually thought that I was in the movie. I was engorged from beginning to end. There is something for everyone in this film. Romance, comedy, drama. There is never a dull moment. I felt what the characters were going through, at times. I felt myself hating Angelica Houston. At times it seemed as though she loved Daniella but then suddenly disregarded her as any part of her family. This story is a wonderful role model for young women or anyone for that matter. Daniella had such a hard life and yet she still looked on the bright side of life. She never gave up and always saw the best in life and people. I sometimes wish that I were Danielle. Dougray Scott was so convincing as Prince Henry. He was struggling to find his place in the world and finally did when he met Danielle. He was charming and always knew what to say. I loved the scene where they first kissed. It was truly magical. I cannot think of anyone who could play this role better than he. I would recommed this film to anyone. It is for all ages and I cannot see why it is rated pg-13. I have totally fallen in love with this movie and the characters and if you see it I am sure that you will too.
