Summary: Entertaining and surprisingly clean (esp.for Barrymore)
Review: Drew Barrymore gives a heartwarming performance in a movie that despite being based on a fairy-tale, comes off completely believable. Although I wouldn't say I LOVED this movie, it was definitely more than just "worth seeing." AND even though it probably gets lumped in as a "chick flick," the innocence and well-developed characters will draw in any guy over 17.

Summary: Ever After Rocks!
Review: Even my husband loved it when we saw it in a theatre. The costumes are great! I don't care if they speak with the English accent in France, that's just a small detail that did not take away from the movie. And I don't believe in fairy godmothers so the twist in the story was awesome. All the actors/actresses did their part so well! Even if you're not a Drew fan, you'll like what she did with her character. Angelika is just great, she deserves an award in this one! Dougray is handsome but not threatening. And just to think that one of the stepsisters is actually a nice person. This Cinderella is definitely not your normal everyday mousy type, she is a strong person. The video is definite worth buying!

Summary: Wonderfully Written,Acted and directed
Review: Absolutly loved this movie I don't know what to say because it is so wonderful the performances from Drew Barrymore,Anjelica Huston and Dougray Scott are so well done the lush photography makes it beautiful to look at. The music from George Fenton is first rate although i wish he had used the song's the mummer's dance and fable to make the soundtrack even better. But Director Andy Tennent has made this conventional story into a wonderful movie and the performance from Huston is way cool.

Summary: An incredibly funny, amazingly touching tale of a brave girl
Review: I would wholeheartedly recommend this movie to anyone, it's one of the best movies I've ever seen and Drew just shines in the role. Touching, funny but not fairy tale foolish. It's just incredible!

Summary: a Cinderella for the modern woman
Review: Talk about wonderful. Drew Barrymore has an unusual beauty all her own in this movie, not that of a cookie-cutter model. I was extraordinarily impressed with her performance. It is worth seeing just for the costumes, if not all else! The prince has flaws that make him more attractive-- viewers will get a little hot under the collar. Barrymore is the perfect balance between strength and femininity. A must see! My favorite part is when the prince rides up to save her from the bad guy-- you who have seen the film will know what I mean. Do your daughters a favor and own this film!
