Review: My daughter (10) convinced me to buy this movie sight unseen, and I am glad that I did. It was thoroughly entertaining. I liked the way the story was treated like it really could and did happen. Drew Barrymore was enchanting which totally suprised me. Under fives who want to watch dancing mice should stick to Disney, but everyone else would enjoy this version as well.

Drew Barrymore was already one of my favorite actors, and after "Ever-After," Dougray Scott is on the list as well. A must see! Not just a chick-flick!

Review: This movie hade a very down to earth and what would have realy happend in that time. I saw this movie at the theater with my mom. She loved it as much as I did!!! The year of 1998 had some of the worst movies in a long time, but I wanted to buy this movie right away! Drew Barrymore is excellent and Angelica Houston is a very good evil stepmother. This is a beautiful tale about love and games played by people who have a love for power. A MUST BUY !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Review: This movie is so wonderful! If you haven't seen it, I would recommend watching it. The senery is beautiful and the actors/actresses did a wonderful job- especially Drew Barrymore, Angelica Huston and Dougray Scott. I love Danielle's character in the film- how she prays and is very humble. I've heard from people that they conider this movie better than "Titanic". Children all of ages will enjoy this movie. I give this movie 100 stars!
