Summary: Hilarious gangster film...
Review: Scarface has made a huge cultural impact over the years, starting with the 1983 debut. While it really didn't impact many actors or film makers, it enthused an audience that loved the disturbingly violent and tragic life of being a gangster. Admired by white middle class bores, and later by black wannabe Gs, Scarface has become a cult phenomena loaded with awesome lines expertly delivered by Al Pacino. Now, sadly, dated and showing its age as a dreary 80's film, the blood and drama does keep the viewer riveted. The violence barrier this film broke helped the entire action-death genre come in full bore, making the 80's a smash success with gratuitous, but entertaining, action heroes.

Even better, Rockstar Games used the sound track on the GRAND THEFT AUTO video game released in 2001, since the whole game is almost a take on Scarface and other crime movies.

Summary: Pacino saves this monstrosity.
Review: Thank God for Al Pacino because he says this monstrosity called 'Scarface'. If it wasn't for him, it would be a candidate for one of the worst films.

Summary: Scareface
Review: The movie " Scarface" is derected by Brian De Palma. Scarfase is about a Cuban refugee who builds a powerful cocaine empire throudh a ruthless reign of ultra violence and business savvy. The main character in this film is Tony Montana who believes that "first you get the money, then you get the power and then you get the woman". In the end it all goes up in a hell of bullets and hallfire: Tony Montana was a man so obsessed with the American dream, that he did not realize it had consumed him in every way possible.
The film "Scarface " was very interesting but on the other hand it was scary to watch because there were a lot of actions that involved killing, robbing and a lot of money.

Summary: hellbound
Review: Scarface, done by mr. De Palma. Al Pacino stars in this classic movie of coming out on top in the drug world. Tony Montana (pacino) arrives in amercia trying to make it big, and in the 70's there is only one way to get to the top and fast. Overall the film is well done for the technology at the time. The subtle yet emotional movements of the camera as well as the depressing ans somewhat eery music creates a good atmosphere and gives added feeling to the characters. The acting was weel played off and i was even led to believe that these people werw who they were acting. All in all this was a good film and i do recomend people go to rent this for them selves. I hope many people down the line in years can enjoy and appreciate a classic like this one.

Summary: The World is Yours...
Review: Scarface is without a shadow of a doubt a great film. The film goes around Tony Montana who comes to America during the 80's when Fidel Castro opened the ports of Cuba, and now hundred's of Cubans come to America to seek a better life. Tony Montana; a Cuban, and willing to make something better for himself first starts out small; washing dishes, and he see's the life of drug dealers, and decides this is the way to get rich fast and live his own version of the American dream. First, he kills to get money, and he is then drawn into the drug induced 80's through cocaine. Now he is living the high-life; he has a huge manasion, expensive cars, a wife, and he is getting rich faster than he could do coke. Life is good for him, but caught by the police for tax-envasion, he gets the best lawyers, and gets off scott free. Then, before his eyes, his world collapses around him like a house of cards.
This is a work of fiction, but it gives you the good side of drugs; the money, women, and everything you could only get in your imagination. The bad side; enemies, addiction, and the law enforcement. Scarface is a great film, and it never get's old, Al Pachino gives a great performance as Tony Montana, and Michele Pfeipher gives a good role as Tony's wife. A good film, and defintely worth getting.

Summary: Say goodnight to the bad guy.
Review: Wow, where to begin. This movie is a work of art, but not in the traditional sense, it is hardly subtle, (but who expects a movie like this to be a subtle film?) and is essentially about a man who is dedicated only to fulfilling his own vices. Tony Montana, a self proclaimed 'political prisoner' from Cuba is hungry for what he has coming to him (the world, and everything in it) and nothing stops him, not his bosses who he eventually assassinates or his enemies, who don't even truly win the fight against him.
I don't intend to write a transcript of the story, I'd rather focus on reviewing the film. Al Pacino plays Tony perfectly. You have to constantly remind yourself that Al isn't from Cuba, and that he played a quiet, dark mafia kingpin in the Godfather trilogy. De Palma's directing is at its best. The other characters, annoying as they may be are also very good actors and deserve kudos for their excellent chops. I love this movie, and sincerely wish a higher rating could be given.

Summary: ONE OF THE BEST GANGSTER FLICKS OF ALL TIME!
Review: SCARFACE IS A FANTASTIC MOVIE ABOUT A CUBAN IMMIGRANT WHO GETS SUCKED IN BY THE TEMPTATION OF MIAMI'S SEEDY DRUG-PEDALING UNDERGROUND. TONY MONTANA IS HIS NAME AND THE WORLD WON'T SOON FORGET HIS RUTHLESS, UNFORGIVING RISE TO THE TOP OF MIAMI'S LUCRATIVE DRUG-TRAFFICING INDUSTRY. HIS DUTIFUL SIDEKICK, MONOLO, IS INCLINED TO DO WHATEVER MONTANA TELLS HIM (AS EVIDENCE BY THE NOW-CLASSIC SEEN WHERE HIS OLD BOSS LOPEZ GETS SHOT). AND, NOT TO MENTION THIS MOVIE IS RESPONSIBLE FOR ONE OF THE MOST IMMORTALLY MEMORABLE LINES IN ALL OF AMERICAN POP CULTURE: "SAY HELLO TO MY LITTLE FRIEND". AN ALL AROUND FANTASTIC MOVIE (IF YOU CAN LOOK PAST THE WHOPPING 160 F-BOMBS IN THE FILM). I'M ESPECIALLY FOND OF LAST FINAL SCENCES OF THE FILM, WHERE ALL THE HITMEN INVADE TONY'S MANSION. ONE OF AMERICAN CINEMAS ESSENTIAL "CULT CLASSICS".
