The story never gets boring and the film is filled with memorable catchphrases, like "As far back as I can remember I've always wanted to be a gangster". This is simply the BEST mod, no no, the BEST MOVIE ever made!!! Watch it you'll love it. I did.

Summary: A True Modern Classic!
Review: A truly great movie takes more than one viewing to fully appreciate all of the subtle qualities that make it brilliant. Goodfellas is one of these movies. This film can be just as frightening and disturbing as the american mafia it depicts...and true mob-movie fans wouldn't want it any other way. I have now seen this movie over 100 times and each time, I am still awed by the brilliant storytelling of Scorsese, and the remarkable acting of its stars, namely Deniro and Pesci. Wether or not you are a fan of the Mob genre, this is an absolutely essential title.

Review: I WATCH THIS MOVIE AT HOME AT LEAST ONCE A WEEK. I SIT THEIR IN A TRANCE THAT LASTS FOR ABOUT TWO AND A HALF HOURS. EVERYTHING IS PERFECT IN THIS FILM. THE ACTORS, THE CINEMATOGRAPHY, THE FIERCE DIALOGUE, THE VIOLENCE, THE SOUNDTRACK, EVERYTHING. ANOTHER ONE OF MY ALL TIME FAVORITES. Summary: Excellent movie but not for the squeamish
Review: This movie felt so real and right on when it comes to mafia movies. When I first watched it, however, it took me a couple minutes to realize that I was watching the second part instead of the first part (I hate dvd's you have to flip). I hope they come out with a special collector's edition.

Review: From Uncle Paully, to Johnny Roast Beef, right back to Tommy DeVito and Mickey Eyes, this movie is full of mob characters that capture the essence of the good ole days. The only way this movie could have been better is if I could have been in it. If you like mob movies, this is simply the best one ever.

Summary: Possibly the best mob movie ever!
Review: Scorsese demystifies the mob with the same power that the Godfather films use to mythologize it. He very skillfully horrifies us with the behavior of his Mafia-affilitiated characters while making us root for them at the same time. Deniro and Sorvino are great, Pesci is scary, and it's the best acting Lorraine Bracco has ever done. If this is not the best American film of its decade, then it's in the top two. The fact that this film and its director lost the Oscar to Dances With Wolves is a greater act of theft than any portrayed in the movie.

Review: This movie has everything you want from a movie. Action, humor, and tasteful violence(ha ha) the direction and cinematography is all Scorsese. The chemistry between actors is phenominal. This is my all-time favorite movie!
