Review: The most realistic and best mob films ever.there is nothing bad about this movie at all.Scrosese shoul'd of gotten an award for this one.I can't see how anyone who loves mob movies would not put this on there top ten list.I collect all of his mob movies and without it my collection wouldn't survive.everything in this movie is very slick and surprising.It is based on three decades in the life of an italian mob.alot of other differnt kinds of mob movies that ive seen are pretty much all the same and this one is differnt and that's also why this movie is so good.

Summary: The Best Movie Ever
Review: Goodfellas is without a doubt the best mob movie ever made, and in my opinion is also the best movie in Hollywood history. The Godfather series was a fantasy, revolving around the head of the Family. Goodfellas is a true story, revolving around the soldiers. Whereas The Godfather excels in pagentry and glitz, Goodfellas shows the rank underbelly of the mob. The characters are real. I should know as most of them lived in my neighborhood (no, I don't know any of them).Goodfellas is filmed on location in the streets of Queens and Brooklyn. The acting is outstanding--DeNiro, Pesce, Liotta, Sorvino, Bracco (SP?), and all the extras are magnificent. Even Scorcese's mother is great (she plays Pesce's mom in the film). There is not one wasted scene if Goodfellas. To me, every scene over its 2 1/2 hours is a classic. Take particular note of the scene where Liotta brings Bracco to the Copacabana through the kitchen. It's one riveting continuous sequence over about 4 minutes. I'm no mob-wannabe, but I've taken field trips throughout NYC to see locations where the movie was filmed. I may sound a little nutty, but this truly is my favorite movie of all time.

Review: This movie is beautifully made, in all aspects of the word. Great story, great plot, and great actors. Actors like Robert Deniro, Joe Pesci, Ray Liotta, Paul Sorvino, etc. You have to see this movie and see it again, and again. Goodfellas will hook you!! You'll see.. Also the soundtrack is great, really makes you stick with the movie till the end. Just don't get to attached to Tommy, you'll know what I mean when you watch the movie...
