Review: GoodFellas took me inside. It made ME a part of the Mafia and I still felt like I was living inside Henry Hill's mind days after I watched it. The film is more than a docudrama about Italians in organized crime, but a film showcasing mouth-watering Italian dishes, the close affections of Italian culture, and tons of hilarity. Ray Liotta, Joe Pesci, and Robert DeNiro star in their finest film roles I have ever seen. This movie will make you proud, scared, happy, sad, and with a final feeling of awe. Extremely entertaining, no mob movie comes close. No movie comes close. Buy this film today.

Review: Ever wonder why people get into the Mob to begin with? Watch this film and find out. It's a seductive lifestyle, but as Henry Hill (Ray Liotta) finds out, it's a life that requires you to screw your friends, destroy your marriage, and live a lie. And by the end of the film, even after Henry is stuck in a nowheresville subdivision in the witness protection program after losing it all, he STILL wants the mob life back. It's the power of amorality, brought into crystal clear focus by Martin Scorsese. Brilliant film, full of marvelous performances and wonderful moments.

Summary: "GoodFellas" is Just Good...Nothing More
Review: I am not really a fan of the mob movies, but I have heard so much about 'GoodFellas' that I just had to rent it! Joe Pesci's character was ugly! He shot people for the fun of it and then laughed about it. Everyone is saying that 'GoodFellas' is the perfect crime story. It is just how mafia life is. If that is the way mafia life is...it is the first I have heard of it. The end was what got this movie the three stars that it got. (And I was in a generous mood, when I gave this rating.) If you are a fan of these kind of movies...you'll love it. If you are just going to watch it because everyone says it's good, you are making a mistake. The violence is extreme. The 'F' word is used in just about every other sentence. When it is all put together...IT MAKES YOU SICK TO YOUR STOMACH.

Summary: Fugettaboutit -- the best crime movie ever made
Review: If my title seems like hyperbole, you obviously haven't seen this movie. With all due respects to Mr. Coppola, "Goodfelleas" blows away even "The Godfather." Director Martin Scorsese, who grew up in the same neighborhoods as the characters in his film, captures onscreen the most creditble crime story ever told. Unfolding over the course of three decades, the movie tells the story of Henry Hill, a mid-level mobster who only turned state's evidence against his fellows after he had no other choice. The movie is bursting with memorable characters; Joe Pesci as the hotheaded mobster, Robert DiNiro as the cold blooded killer-thief, Paul Sorvino as the head of the family. If these guys don't put a chill through you, nothing will. This is the best movie from one of America's greatest directors.

Review: This movie is just excellent. I love the style of this movie, where the main character does a dialoge talking about his life experiences and then the scene acting them out. The casting for this movie couldn't of been better, and the acting itself was just great. This is a movie that i enjoy watching over and over.

Review: This is De Niro's master-performance and Scorcese's masterpiece. From top to bottom, the best movie I have ever seen. The best mob movie ever made (yes, better than the Godfather). Sheer genius at work, Pesci is amazing as Tommy, Liotta will never have a better role in his life, and Paul Sorvino is great as well. But, the real scene stealer here is De Niro as Jimmy Conway, a character that demands your attention and does not relinquish it until the movie's end. No other movie compares to this, this movie is perfection. If you do not own this on DVD then BUY IT NOW!
