Summary: A good war movie
Review: I truely enjoyed this film. For the first hour and thirty minuets I thought it was about one thing only to find out that the introduction and complication were merely subterfuge. It was cleverly composed and very well acted. And Bruce Willis is one of my favorite actors.

Summary: Acting at it's BEST !!!
Review: Excellent acting by all! Movie starts as an action War scenario
but evolves into much more. Colin Farrell is sensational.
Wonderful, right up there with such Classics as Schindler's List
and Saving Private Ryan.
A MUST SEE, Keith

Summary: A civil rights movie in P.O.W. clothing
Review: This movie is reasonably well acted but the material is not what you are expecting. Bottom-line: there is VERY little action in Hart's War. Instead, there is a kangaroo court staged in the midst of a Nazi POW camp with a honorable black defendant and lots of white racists. Yawn. How many creative ways are left to show that White men are evil and Black men are oppressed? I'm white and this movie felt like a sucker punch. Rent it - don't buy it.

Summary: Best War Movie in a long time
Review: Harts War is in a league of its own. Yes, it is reminiscent, in places, of Stalag 17, but it stands on its own as a superb piece of cinema.
Colin Farrell play Hart, a Law Student, who tries to defend a black airman accused of murder. He portrayal of thomas Hart is superb, and far exceeds Willis or any of the other stars. It is beautifully and brutally filmed. The opening scenes, where the jeep is attacked, and Farrell ends up in a ditch full of corpses is quite unexpected. In some ways it is also reminiscent of Band of Brothers.

Forget all other movies of this type that you have seen, sit back and watch until the very end.

And girls, Colin Farrell is definitely a treat for us.

Summary: A powerful and very Intelligent WWII POW Film
Review: This is one of the most intelligent World War II prisoner of war films ever made. No, this is not THE GREAT ESCAPE but instead is more akin to STALAG 17 for its inspiration and its approach to the subject. Much more complex in its structure and questions of morality raised than STALAG 17 did this film pushes the envelope for the emotional burden it places on the viewer. This is a great film.

Summary: Bah!
Review: This movie was horrible. What was advertised as a "Good guys vs. Nazi's wham-bam great escape" type movie turns out to be a boring "White GI's hate black GI's even in Nazi concentration camps" court-room drama farce! What the Nazi commandant allowed within the confines of his prison is laughable! This movie should be taken out to the courtyard and shot!

Summary: it was ok..
Review: well I saw the movie and it was pretty good, the acting was good, nothing astounding or horrible, it was average. Some of the gore scenes were really good though, and I liked the story line, the end kind of summed it all up!

I hope y'all liked it

Summary: Colin Farrell stole the show
Review: Sorry previous reviewers, but I thought this movie was excellent. But then, I like Bruce Willis and I thought Colin Farrell was superb. It isn't always necessary to nitpick a movie to death.

Rating: 5 stars
Summary: Outstanding Hart's War
Review: Excellent Movie. Colin Farrell is sensational. Starts off as an action movie but becomes more of a Drama. Outstanding acting all the way around.!!!
