Review: I thought this was an excellant mini series. We watched this as a family and we did not miss an episode. It portayed that era very well. My father served in World War II and it made me appreciate what he and all of the other soliders did for our country. That was some of my Father's proudest moments in his life. I think that every teenager should watch it to make them appreciate the older generations.

Review: Band of brothers might be the best movie I've ever seen. It tells the story about WWII on a unique way. I live in Holland myself, so it's very special seeing my own country in such a movie! This movie gives you a realistic view on how terrible World War II was. From now on, I respect every World War II soldier, our other person that fighted in WWII.

Summary: Riveting Epic
Review: BoB was uneven, maybe the cutting room or errors in script continuity. But the story, acting and setting were so wonderful that mistakes are easily forgotten. Worth having on DVD since it requires several viewings - especially if commentaries are included. Among this terrific cast, watch for two of the finest actors these days: Robin Laing and Rick Gomez.

Summary: The best series ever
Review: This is probably the best series ever made. The attention to detail, realism and actual events is unparalleled. There have been some really good war movies released this year (Black Hawk Down and We Were Soldiers) but this series makes every movie of war look weak in comparison.I am looking forward to this DVD. I would like to mention that Donnie Walburgh blew me away as Sgt. Lipton. Everyone did a great job but Mr. Walburgh was amazing and the biggest surprise of all (since I had no idea I was watching a former New Kid On The Block.. the man is nearly unrecognizable from his former occupation).

Review: This was simply one of the finest projects ever produced for the screen, TV or the movies. I thought I appreciated the sacrifices that our soldiers have made for our country, but this gave me a new insight of what courage really is. It seems that whatever Hanks and Spielberg do has a mark of quality. This is a time when Americans must respect and support our military. Band of Brothers shows us how ordinary men and women step forward to do what must be done at great personal sacrifice.

Review: I was given a copy of this video to watch and told that I would not be able to stop watching it. I kept putting it off until a day came that there was absolutely nothing on T.V. They were RIGHT!!! I could not stop. The photography and the actors were rivoting!! I was so glad I had a copy that contained all of the episodes because I would not have been able to wait until the next time it came on. I felt like I was there and had the same thoughts and feelings as each person that was promoted that episode. I was amazed at actors that virtually acting wise to me were nobody's. BRAVO to the actors and directors!!!! It really brought the war I never knew home to me!

Summary: The closest thing to the truth
Review: being only 23 I have been intrested with WWII my whole life. I have read many books written about WWII and am still finding out as much as I can about it. When I read Band of Brothers for the first time it really opened my eyes to the real life side of the war. Most books are based off of only the facts and NOT the real people that were there.
When I saw the series for the first time I was hoping that it would be "close to the book" but I was pleasantly suprised that it was the book! This series shows how things were for these men and not only what they did in combat but what they felt and why they were there.
The way it was made was unbelievable!!!! It looked as if I was really there right next to the E Company guys when they were fighting. This series is a Master Piece!

Review: This was one of the best series on HBO that I have ever seen in my entire life. My great-grandfather used to tell me about his WWII stories and this series really brought those stories to life for me. I can't wait for it to be released to DVD!!
