Rating: Summary: Another Forgettable Sexploitationer Review: After watching "Lap Dancing," I was filled with questions, like, was Lorissa McComas simply untalented or was she the best actress for the part? What was the difference between her two separate on-screen auditions at the offices of CineTel, other than the fact that she writhed all over the director? Was that an actual strip club, or was the writer confusing his neighborhood experimental/dinner theater for an adult venue? Was that Tane McClure's actual singing voice? And will I ever find the soundtrack in the cut-out bin of my local Sam Goody? Is a poorly-handled domestic violence subplot really a good idea in this kind of movie, or did the producers think that the audience likes voyeuristic sex mixed with implied wife-beating? And perhaps most importantly, is Mike Sedan merely an incompetent filmmaker or does he just hate the average viewer? All good questions, all to be left unanswered.

Rating: Summary: Same old story, but plenty of erotic energy! Review: Lorissa McComas is the only reason to see this film. The story line is re-hashed and the acting is average at best, BUT... Ms McComas displays two splendid reasons to enjoy this film. Her body is enough to keep you entertained for the night. And face it, the only time guys watch these movies is when the wife or girlfriend is away for the evening. A perfect companion on a lonely Saturday night.
Rating: Summary: Sexy, fun & empowering. Review: Movies about struggling actresses in Hollywood are not new. Throw in lots of nudity & you have an average movie. Add Lorissa McComas & you have a surprisingly refreshing movie that manages to be HOT! HOT! HOT! and tell a story.Ms. McComas plays "Angie" a struggling actress who bombs during her first audition because she's so innocent & so sheltered. At her very sexy roomates's urging--played with sexy, zesty relish by the very tall & beautiful Tane McClure--she becomes a lap dancer to learn about life. OK this isn't new, but Ms. McComas captures the sturggles any young woman with a killer body must face in Hollywood with class & style. She can act!! Most of the time you don't care because she's frequently without clothes, but if you can stop panting long enough to pay attention to Ms. McComas's portrayal you won't be disappointed with the quality of her acting either. She could easily make the jump to mainstream movies & T.V. Ms.McComas's final dance number is a knockout. Not only can she act, she can dance too. The movie contains an original sountrack that isn't bad and the supporting cast is very good. You can't go wrong with "Lap Dancing" because it has class & talent as well as lots of beautiful women and Lorissa McComas. Even so-called "B-Movies" with lots of nude actresses can have value & this one does. There is a plot here as well, but this movie is really about "Angie's" search for herself.
Rating: Summary: Sexy dance scenes Review: The acting in this one is not that great and I wished the dance scenes had been filmed or edited better, but for me, it's the dance scenes and the eroticism that makes this a cute, light "date movie!" It'll get you hot with the opening shots alone!
Rating: Summary: Don't waste your time or money on this lousy film Review: The art and skill of strip dancing is shown here at its best, not only with the lead but also with the other dancers especially the one who does the "fireman" routine. The story is predicatable, but with thid kind of show biz talent on display, who cares. In this case it is similar to "The Last Dance," another great dance picture with a corny plot.

Rating: Summary: Don't waste your time or money on this lousy film Review: This film takes one attractive girl with limited acting ability, gives her a lousy script, surrounds her with silicon sisters past their prime, and male customers who dress and act like they stepped out of a lame Playboy stripper video. Check out Allison is Watching or Playtime instead.
Rating: Summary: Another Forgettable Sexploitationer Review: This is an excellent stripper movie with the charming Lorissa McComas showing off er well endowed self. A great exotic dance scene by Kim Dawson too. Unfortunately, in my opinion the film is marred by having the male lead played as a blind guy; a dumb gimmick. Does he smell the girls as they do their routines or maybe he is turned on by the fine musical score. Catch the great fast editing in the dance numbers. Some of the cuts must be about five frames a second
