Rating: Summary: Don't Judge This Movie By Its Cover Review: Despite Jessica's suggestive front-cover pose, the DVD behind it lacks anything equally alluring. At best, the movie straddles the border between a PG-13 and R movie. Nothing revealing inside. What else is missing? Dialogue. It's 60 minutes of voiceovers. And, while "Rendezvous in Australia" may suggest some light-hearted romance with excitement and adventure, there is none. Just a moody woman sorting through emotional issues -- from start to finish.
Rating: Summary: Don't Judge This DVD By Its Cover Review: Despite Jessica's suggestive pose on the front cover, the movie really straddles somewhere between a PG-13 and an R rating. The "revealing" parts are brief, far and few between, and not that revealing. There's little or no dialogue. Just 60 minutes worth of voiceovers. This movie is also a downer. I know the title says "Rendezvous in Australia" and it sounds like some movie filled with romance, excitement and adventure, but there's no rendezvous, no romance, no excitment, and no adventure. Without giving away too much of the plot, it's literally a flick about a woman going through emotional problems. How interesting does that sound? Not very.
