Rating: Summary: Disappointing because of false advertising Review: Look at the cover of this DVD. What does it show? It shows three beautiful women, two of whom are vampires (who are, incidentally, about to dine on the girl in the middle).
Why do I point this out? Because they don't show any GUYS on the box cover, yet once you watch this video there are guys everywhere! I feel I was falsely led to believe that this video is largely about lesbian vampires when in fact it's only that one scene. Whoever marketed this video realized that people don't want to see any guys so they wisely kept them off the box cover. Too bad the people who marketed this one didn't also produce it.
Rating: Summary: PLEASE BITE ME Review: More soft core erotica than horror, this is an excellent addition to the soft core genre. Attractive young woman submits to vampyrism and then has troubles with her boyfriend as you might expect. It's well produced and moderately well acted.
Rating: Summary: The Best Erotic-Vampire Film Review: Quite simply the best erotic-vampire film ever (if you're wondering about what I mean by erotic-vampire... think the Vampire Lovers, Erotic Rites of Countes Dracula etc, ...), only this film's much better. This film manages to truly capture the eroticism that comes from a vampire film.
Rating: Summary: VAMPIRES... BITE LATER Review: RENEE REA and CATALINA LARRANAGA in the same movie! Outstanding! Embrace the Darkness 2 has some pretty intense sexy scenes that show a lot more than most of these kinds of movies. That's a good thing. If you're a fan of RENEE or CATALINA, this movie is worth purchasing. The two women are prominently featured in most of the movie. Unfortantely, there are a lot of down sides. The directing is terrible. Shots held too long in editing, make some of the stunts looks pretty darn silly. The acting is pretty bad too, and again, I blame the direction and editing. The love scenes or sex scenes (whatever you want to call them), seem to all take place in the exact same place! A lighted table in the basement of a dance club. Their pretty hot scenes, but a little variety would have helped. All in all, I'm glad I bought it. But I'm a RENEE REA freak.

Rating: Summary: Erotic Horror With An Interesting Twist Review: This is the second erotic vampire movie in the series but has no other relation to the other movies.
A young woman has found herself transformed into a vampire but does not understand what is going on. She is taken under the wings of a pair of old vampires connected with a goth club. As she learns more about her new self, she has to break completely from her past. Unfortunately her old boyfriend has other ideas.
As her boyfriend tries to track her down we also meet a vampire hunter named Van (Van Helsing). He is on the track of a very old vampire. The end involves an interesting twist that would have been great in a "straight" vampire film.
Okay, obviously no one is going to be watching this one for stellar acting or effects. Naked bodies in motion is the allure of these movies. Most of the cast is in very good shape and are shown off in full detail. The action is more frontal than these movies usually are and that will put this one high on may people's lists.
If erotic with a touch of horror is your cup of tea then you will be sure to be pleased by this one.
Rating: Summary: The continuing adventures of Jennifer the vampire. Review: This movie picks up right where Embrace the Darkness left off. Jennifer is now a vampire. She's also played by a different actress (Renee Rea). I liked the original Jennifer better but Renee is plenty attractive as well.
The rest of the movie plays out very much like the first one did. Jennifer meets two other vampires. The girl vampire (Catalina Larranaga) is bad, but the guy vampire is good. Most of the movie follows the same formula. Vampire gets hungry. Vampire finds a mortal who looks tasty. Vampire has sex with mortal. Vampire feeds on mortal. These vampires are all wussies though. They only kill a couple of people in the entire movie. Obviously, the story wasn't too memorable, but it held my interest enough to keep my finger off the fast forward button. There's also some pretty cool special effects used throughout.
There are nine sex scenes. Six are boy/girl. One is girl solo. One is girl/girl. One is guy/girl/girl. For the most part, the sex scenes were good and decently explicit. They all play out to completion and the actors and actresses are always audible over the background music.
The women are all attractive and deliver good performances. There are five of them that participate in the sex scenes.
There was definitely room for improvement. Katie Lohmann's masturbation scene could have been done better and Catalina Larranaga should have removed her clothes for the lesbian scene.
It's no better or worse than the first movie. If you liked that one, you'll probably be happy with this one.
