Summary: Liked this one a lot!!!
Review: This is a cool movie. It totally got me to thinking and I haven't been able to stop thinking about it. A lot of things about it really hit a little too close to home and it made me feel kind of happy that other people think this way. Really good!!! Recommended!!!

Summary: This is a clever little movie
Review: It's kind of similar to Run Lola Run and Sliding Doors in the fact that it gives the viewer different perspectives on the ending. Even though that isn't totally original, I still thought that this was a clever, well made little movie. It feels kind of experimental and looks like it was shot on a shoe-string, but I like the unpolished look of it. I also really liked the cast, who I thought were all great. This movie actually gave me a lot to think about, which is more than I can say for most of the big budget stuff I've seen lately. It makes me want to check out the director's other films - "Shopping for Fangs" and "Flow."

Summary: i want my money back too
Review: i want my money back too. refund! refund! reasons (1) actors are so clumsy. they do not show "love." (2) the asian actor always flaunts a silly smile. what does that mean? (3) the characters are wilfull, or even worse, egocentric. they are daydreaming of trivial things. (4) people say it is filmed in LA? ah! it looks like Idaho!

Summary: Beautiful & Poignant !!
Review: Plenty of things that we can learn from this movie. "Never take anything for granted"; "Live for the moment"; "Life is tough, so deal with it," etc. Bottom line: once in a while we need to remind ourselves about simple things in life...... We only live once, so live to the fullest !! This is the kind of movie that makes us humble to be human...... What a delight movie to watch!! Bravo !!

Summary: I want my money back...
Review: This movie is like listening to someone reading a book out loud. There is absolutely no emotion in the acting. The characters are uninteresting and the bad acting kills the film. This would probably be a great book to read, but on screen it's very flat and uninteresting. It made 86 minutes seem like 2 1/2 hours. Why couldn't they find decent actors in L.A.??? Why does the character "Leo" sound like he suffers from stage fright? This film would've been good if they could've found three actors who understood drama and how to portray emotion.

Summary: VERY INTERESTING and FUN
Review: I remember reading a great review of this film in the Los Angeles Times, so I decided to check it out on DVD. I wasn't disappointed. It's really clever and addresses relationship issues that are rarely addressed in gay films. Sure, the main character (played by R.T. Lee) whines a lot and is in his head a lot, but I know so many people who are exactly like him. The other two actors who make up the love triangle are super. The boyfriend (played by Greyson Dayne) is completely sweet and naturalistic and the college kid (played by Johnathon Roessler) is hilarious. The entire cast, for that matter is great, especially the coffee shop owner (with a couple of the best lines in the film). The photography is a little stark and jolting, but it looks like it was intended to be that way, adding to the naturalistic feel. Very cool! This is a really worthy effort by director Quentin Lee and should be checked out by everyone interested in gay cinema.

Summary: Nice to rent but not to own
Review: This movie look and sounds like a homemade movie. Lighting is horrible. Interesting subject, good casting but it's lacking strenght. It can be watched.

Summary: acting not convincing at all
Review: immature film with bad acting. the actors are weirdly unconvincing, as if love and lovemaking were very difficult for them. many characters look uptight. casting is a major problem for the little dessert. the script is smart, but obviously it is overshadowed by so many similar predecesors.

Summary: Another Run Lola Run....
Review: Since the hit of the German film RUN LOLA RUN (actually, before it), we have seen so many films with repetitive episodes and with open endings. This film belongs to the already cliche category. It is not new; it is OLD. It is so predictable. I do not know why people have to re-microve the successful workss. May people do something more creative? The white partner actor is good, but others (the younger white, the Asian man) look pretentious. They need more polishing. But please, do not always imitate the European hits.

Summary: A ball of confusion--that's what this movie is!
Review: I picked up a rental DVD copy this weekend after I read the liner notes on the box. Save yourself the money to buy this and pick up something substantial like Dan Futterman's peformance in URBANIA.

The liner notes mention the film was shot on Digital Video, and it looks like a beginner was pointing the camera. The lighting is harsh, there's no color correction, and everyone's skin and hair looks unwashed for weeks! Not a pretty sight in a gay film...

The three characters who make up the love "triangle" are all in need of some psychotherapy or at least a few cocktails. Get a life, people! Cliches, whining about love, on and on they go. None of these characters are very believable, and the dialogue is stilted and awful. There is a conversation thread between two of the principal characters about how romantic a story is about a serial killer in love with a young man. Very creepy and far from romantic. This part of the movie bordered on disturbing.

Some of the longest 86 minutes I've ever spent trying to enjoy a film. Very disappointed.
